You just knew Rashford was going to miss that. He's absolutely useless at one-on-ones where he's got time to think.

Big result that. Deserved? Think we played better than we did at Old Trafford but Juventus had some great chances and really should not have lost.

Fantastic result and a much improved performance. Yes Juve had chances but you’d expect that with their home record.
Superb.

Seen the Sterling penalty incident. Why couldn’t he have just told the ref he tripped himself up? Even his own manager was embarrassed to get that penalty.

They were having an interesting debate on the radio about where you draw the line. Should you own up to being offside? What if you are a keeper and the ball crosses the line but it’s not given? The general consensus seemed to be that you should keep quiet and let the ref officiate the game. You win some, you lose some etc.. me I’m not sure. There’s something uneasy about watching a player get a penalty for misunderstanding and then not saying anything about it that’s for sure.

To be fair with most offsides players are too focused on the ball to see if they offside or not as it can be close margin sometimes. Where as there was nothing close about the pen and even Pep was embarrassed that they got it.

My thinking was the same when listening that in the majority of cases a player would have no clue if he was onside or not.

Will do our best. Can you be sub par and not get away with it again as well?

Is Scorpy Scrawpy?

As in lucky?

Or do you mean with a sting in its tail?

Both apt for last night?

Skorpy as in scrappy, I presume it was no?

I was asleep at half time (nothing to do with match just tired) so only heard reports on radio this morning.

I hope Liverpool can stop being crap against Fulham at Anfield on Sunday.

I think you’ll murder them tbh.

Ah scrappy. Not sure it was. We defended reasonable well and used the ball better than we have. It was a bit smash and grab at the end but at champions league level - you can get punished if you lapse or miss your chances.

I’m hoping city are similarly profligate on Sunday.

It's kinda funny how half of the spiegel stuff on city in their articles has been serious allegations whilst the other 50% of each one is moaning that Bayern lost out on their transfer targets

Anyone else finding BATE vs Chelsea really confusing because BATE are basically playing in a Chelsea away kit?

It’s been a pretty gooseberry fool expose. All we’ve really learnt is abit of detail on how City cheated.

Chapter 3 made me laugh. HOW CITY LURED PEP GUARDIOLA

The answer was, offered him a really lucrative contract.
