Could we add that rule to the thread title?

No.

I'll set up a poll and we will let the people decide.

I thought referendums (referanda?) were only advisory?

Part of GESTIFUTE so probably yeah, Sporting went to Mendes to help get him sold, we were all set to sign him for €18m, then their (sporting) crazy ass CEO wanted another 2million, we pulled out, Patricio gets his contract rescinded thanks partly to him and other players being attacked by sporting fans a few weeks before.. We get him for free (though we will cover any legals fees/costs if sporting take him to court)

Surprised about this would have thought he'd see how the new manager does things but he hasn't really hit the performances he should do. But i am liking that Arsenal/Emery are getting things down early i.e. new keeper.

Yeah, it is probably cos he feels it’s time to have a new chapter in his football career and Arsene Wenger has left. So he might feel he should go too.

However, his future at Emirates Stadium was in doubt following the arrival of new manager Unai Emery.

"I felt that I was ultimately left with little choice but to make the decision that I have due to purely footballing reasons," he wrote on Instagram.

"Such was my desire to stay that I had in fact recently agreed to sign a financially reduced contract in order to commit my future to the club.

"My intention throughout these discussions has always been to remain an Arsenal player. I have been on the books at Arsenal for 17 years and have always felt part of the fabric of the club.

"Following my meeting with the new manager I was made aware that although the reduced contract offer remained, it was made clear to me that my playing time would be significantly reduced should I decide to stay.

"I am sure everyone can understand that at this point in my life and career I need to be playing first-team football and following my meeting with Mr Emery I came away feeling that it would be very difficult for me to do so at Arsenal.

"Given this, I feel I have no option but to pursue other opportunities in order to progress my career on the pitch."

He was basically told that he wasn’t in the first team plans so he decided to leave.

Be a big line of clubs after him, got the talent clearly (even though he's another punchable face)...

Would be a half decent replacement for Loftus-Cheek at Palace :shifty:
