Haven't looked forward to a European game at Old Trafford this much in about... oooh 5 years?

Juve are most likely going to hand out an ass-whoopin', but I intend to enjoy the match regardless :toot:

Well that was a load of gooseberry fool, Juve we're just far too good, United couldn't lay a glove on them.

Don't know why Jose didn't throw on Fred or Herrera, Matic was abysmal, he looks completely gone.

Meh.

Jose didn’t use any subs and does he have a clue what to do? :fp:

Don’t forget Lukaku. These are two players Jose bought.

Then he’s saying in the post match interview we missing Fellani to change the direction of the game.

I think the most worrying/frustrating/puzzling thing with United at the moment is that Jose is now in his THIRD SEASON with the club, yet they look like he's only just taken over and are all still getting to know each other. 3 years in and the side has no identity, no tactical plan, no "philosophy" as our dearly departed King Louis would say (and at least his side had an identity, lobotomising though it may have been). I don't know what Jose and his staff must do all week in between games, because it sure as gooseberry fool doesn't look like they work on actually playing a particular system or to a structured gameplan. I just don't get it.

He's had over THREE HUNDRED MILLION pounds to spend, yet he chooses to leave £50m Fred on the bench when Matic is clearly playing on fumes. He leaves £30m Bailly on the bench, relying instead on the now-28-year-old Smalling, who isn't going to suddenly become the next Ferdinand. Smalling has had ONE good season for United, under LVG, he should have been sold years ago.

I could rant about this for ages but will leave it there for now.

Oh I expected the histrionics and the fighting, I didn't expect the actual playing side to be as if he'd just taken his first training session.

From the outside looking in, the whole Manu malarky at mo is just bizarre. The top 6 teams have a playing style, even Arsenal have but if you can't tell what Manu's is yet then apart from anything else its just plain weird.

That Dembele elbow was a typical "bad enough for a first yellow but not for a second" inconsistency.

As much as I do love a good old Tottenham bottle job, I really would rather they crash out properly and don't drop into the Europa League.

That Lloris moment is hilarious considering the discussion about him on the most recent Totally Football Show podcast.
