How is that out of context?

You literally just said both things in the same paragraph.

It doesn't make any difference, the important part is the extension not if the previous contract had a release clause or not.

Hopefully we can get Mane signed up to and extension too, that'll be the front 3 on new contracts. Fabinho, Keita and Brewster also signed 5 year contracts too.

Di Marzio claiming that Ronaldo wants to join Juve. Juve want him but are put off by his salary.

Transfer window closes in 38 days. Been very quiet. Wonder if there will be a massive rush after the World Cup.

United have signed a keeper Lee Grant on a two year deal.

Looks like teams probably have deals ready once the world cup finishes. We should go all out and get bale back at the lane plus a central midfielder to replace Dembele.

We've signed two defenders and a keeper so far, and are apparently lined up to get Torreira once Uruguay are out/win the thing. It has been a bit slow though I agree. Looking forward to having none of the will he won't he crap impinging on the first two weeks of the season.

The problem now is that average players are going for £20m and spurs need a bit better than that. I would hate to be in a situation where significant investment was needed like west ham or everton. These teams will have to take big risks and spend big on average players.

Palace now have a big Cabaye shaped hole in the midfield, I'm fine with the idea of Wilshere being the replacement, beyond that though it's insanely difficult because of the vast swathes of money to get a decent value on any player...

Give me the days of finding some unknown Portuguese bloke for two packets of crisps...
