I don't get it. Everton's recruitment since the takeover has been strawberry floating stupid. Jordan Pickford has been the only out and out excellent signing, we even knew he was a good buy when he signed him. This is straight up gambling by comparison. We absolutely do not need this player.

Football-wise, whilst all the German players flattered to deceive last month Ozil was singled out for a lot of stick. He created decent chances in the Korea game that weren't converted. What more can he do? In terms of the racism/politics it seems a lot of people dropped him like a runny turd to appease the far right, so I can see why he's strawberry floated off!
