Manchester City may face Champions League ban after Uefa FFP investigation

• Promise of strong action if Der Spiegel allegations are proved
• Potential ban could come into effect as early as next season

If allegations are proven true, then a limp-wristed, token of a slap in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1... *slap*

What is the point in fining someone who earns many millions a year such a paltry amount? So pointless and spineless. If you're going to set an example, fine him a million pounds and donate it to charity.

I suppose it depends on how those confessions/admissions were obtained....in the eyes of the law.

United vs Arsenal tonight, I can't call it. Arsenal should be wiping the floor with this United side, but if anyone can squeeze a gooseberry fool 1-0 win in a must-win game, it's Jose.

I think if Pogba starts (and I wouldn't be surprised if he gets benched in a show of power by Jose, probably for someone like McTominay :dread: ) then he'll get royally shown up by Torreira who seems to be one of these bastard complete midfielders.

I think if Arsenal do get a win, and if they win by a clear margin and play United off the park, then Jose really should be getting the sack.

It's kind of a must win for Manu, or at least a must draw, a loss means 11pts off 4th.

United have to lose badly to Arsenal then Liverpool for any realistic sacking talk to occur.
Qualifying for the latter stages of the CL has done that.
The burning issue is - could that then be at the expense of no Champions league next season?
I think it 'll be the summer. They might announce it before then If things continue.

I dunno Denny, if it gets to January and United are still way off the pace are they going to back Jose in the transfer window if they know they'll be sacking him a few months later? To get through the window with no reinforcements would be basically the board declaring that they're not backing him, which would probably make his position untenable.
