Matchday 16 fixtures are in the OP. Pick of the bunch is quite obviously the relegation 6-pointer between Man United and Fulham tomorrow evening :shifty: , but Chelsea vs Man City deserves its place on the undercard.

Arsenal players will be "spoken to" by club chiefs after images emerged allegedly showing four members of the first team inhaling nitrous oxide.

CCTV footage obtained by the Sun shows Alexandre Lacazette, Matteo Guendouzi, Mesut Ozil and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang all inhaling from balloons allegedly containing the substance.

The players were at a private party at a London club in August.

Nitrous oxide is also known as laughing gas or 'hippy crack'.

An Arsenal spokesperson told the BBC players would be "spoken to and reminded of their responsibilities".

Why is this front page news? Why is the BBC even reporting on it?

I suspect it's about the image these players are promoting and not to be doing this gooseberry fool. Not great though as Arsenal have been positive this season on all fronts generally.

Shame about Rob Holding being out for up to 9 months as he has settled in his position the last 2 months.

Which makes even more of a mockery of this "scandal" - it hasn't had any negative impact on the team whatsoever

And it's perfectly legal, on paper it's no different to having a pint.

BBC Sports Personality of the Year: Baddiel and Skinner to sing Three Lions

David Baddiel and Frank Skinner will perform Three Lions at BBC Sports Personality of the Year 2018, 22 years after the song was first released.

The duo will reunite with The Lightning Seeds to sing their number one hit, which became an anthem for England fans during this summer's World Cup.

The live performance will run alongside a highlights reel of England's road to the semi-finals in Russia.

Tickets for the event in Birmingham on Sunday, 16 December can be bought here.

Three Lions was written to mark England hosting the 1996 European Championship - the first major football tournament the country had staged since the 1966 World Cup.

You can watch the performance, and the whole ceremony from the Genting Arena, from 19:00 GMT on BBC One.

Upset a couple of my blue mancunian chums. We were having a pint and they were laughing at how great they are and how gooseberry fool United are.
I pointed out their recent financial shenanigans and ventured the opinion that since their owners were cheats and swindlers - surely the success they have achieved is tainted because it was done so whilst they maintained an unfair and illegal advantage.

I'm not sure how a United fan says that with a straight face. United had the unfairest of financial advantages for over a decade.

What decade was that? Blackburn had more to spend than us from 93-97. Chelsea from 2004 onwards and city since then.
It's not unfair when we earned it through our own revenue streams. We gambled when we floated the club on the stock exchange but a combination of our world wide brand and appeal and then our first big successful period meant that it paid off in a big way for us.

I have no problems with city or anyone else having more money than us. That they have illegally funneled money in and illegally funded squad building is what I object to.

If United had done it during the mythical decade you refer to. You'd still be mentioning it now.
It stinks. I'd be saying this if it was any other club as well. Not just the nouveau Riche neighbours.
