Arsenal fans breathe a sigh of relief that they're no longer the sole butt of that joke :P

I wonder if Messi will finally leave now, is he going to want to waste the next few years whilst they rebuild?

Barcelona haven't played tiki-taka in years mate. Not sure anyone has with the game evolving to be more focused on transitions rather than possession play.

Replace tiki taka with boring Barca football then.

I think at this point we seriously have to question if Messi is as good as Ronaldo.

It's times like this that I wish Dblock was still active on the forum.

Ronaldo couldn’t carry this team. He couldn’t carry Juve...

3.1% of the goals Barca have ever conceded in the CL were scored in tonight’s game

Ronaldo has shown much higher propensity to be successful in different squads over the years.

I get Messi is the artist and people want him to be better, but if I had the pick of the world, Ron is the first name on my team sheet.

Valverde got sacked right after the match, apparently. Pretty certain his only complaint would be that they could have done it at half-time.

Barca

Still surprised that Bayern are excelling under some no-name caretaker that nobody had heard of.

One man should not have this much power in this game. Luckily I'm not an ordinary man.

He did actually carry Juve to the Serie A title this year.

I’m actually not joking.

Good luck financing his £600k+ a week wages.

He’d have to take a MASSIVE cut in wages but he’d get that CL...

He'd obviously want to be in a massive city with loads of shops for his wife and a good supply of massive houses that can be purchased from questionable organisations using questionable means. But it can't be too cold, so living in the north west would be a bit of a problem.

While we're on the subjects of cold, rainy nights up north that are used as a stick to beat you with, where better to play than a team that has such a poor recent record in the provinces that merely scoring in midweek at Elland Road will get you a statue built outside the ground?

He's won the CL, but he has a Europa League hole in his trophy cabinet, if not his legacy, IF NOT HIS HEART.

Personally I'd be more than happy for him to be a makeweight in any Guendouzi deal.

Bayern City semi-final could be interesting.
