He's talented, of course. But £90m? strawberry floating hell. (I'd rather 90m was spent on proven talent. Preferably proven at getting goals seeing as how last season ended.)

It's 90 euros if that helps

Only if it was actually 90 euros. 90m euros is still hard to stomach.

He's proven talent, his Bundesliga numbers are great.

I just hope that he finally breaks the Dortmund-to-United curse :dread:

Could see United posing a challenge next season. Don't think Ole will ever get 90+ pts out of them but if others have off seasons again it's doable.

Sancho is one of the best young players in the world and I think that fee has a good chance of looking like a bargain down the line. I know COVID ruined everyone's finances to a degree but I'll never understand how Man U got what was basically a free run at him two summers in a row.

I wonder if this scuppers anyone going for Haaland now, surely Dortmund won't let both of their crown jewels leave in a single summer.

BBC are saying it's £72.9m with no add-ons. Quite the saving on last year's attempts.

Hopefully with Nuno now being announced to Spurs we'll pull our fingers out and appoint SOMEONE.

Good choice for Spurs manager, did well at Wolves. Hope Sancho doesn’t have a Brewster esque season, he’s done well in the Bundesliga so I don’t see this happening as he’s proven he can score in a top league already. €90 million though :dread:

I know of a manager that has recently become available.

2nd highest fee paid for an English player after Maguire.

Just a Different set of rules for some clubs.

Glad we've signed Nuno. Will be interesting to see what he does and if we will finally ditch 4231.

I don't watch the Bundesliga, but every time I've seen Sancho play for England he's been painfully average. Would be funny to see him flop at Man U, but I'm glad we won't have to hear about the failed bids and back-and-forth every transfer window like we've had to for the last few years.

Everton and Spurs both ending up with solid managers as well. I've always liked Benitez. Some of the bumpain Everton fans I've seen online  :fp:

Sancho is one of the very best young players in the world. It's an incredible signing for United.

Yeah, Fantastic signing for Utd, a lot of money though! Can't help but feel that's Martials time up for yous though.

Based on current signings, will obviously change when city sign Kane and Grealish.
1 - Liverpool
2 - Chelsea
3 - UTD
4 - City

Leicester, again are doing absolute business. Daka ( Confirmed ) Soumare still yet to be completed for around £30 million total is amazing, Daka is your Vardy replacement there.

Liverpool need to bring in a gini replacement and someone upfront too. Either a No 10, or an out and out striker who will get goals.

Varane is up for UTD apparently. £45 million

A Varane-Maguire CB partnership could be the best in the league, besides perhaps Stones-Dias. With AWB and Shaw as full-backs... I mean that is some defence.

Re: Sancho

I have watched >20 Dortmund matches this season. He is easily worth the money, but as with any signing, he needs to be utilised in a way that enables him to use his strengths. Not like how Utd have deployed Pogba. Every time we see Pogba play for France he's strawberry floating dynamite and looks well worth the money Utd paid for him.
