£85m is only if everything is hit. I imagine it'll be winning the league and CL things like that!

Apparently he’s got to start 60 games in five years for Benfica

He'll struggle to play 60 games for Benfica if he's just joined Liverpool - looks like tricky Jurgen has pulled off another heist! :toot:

Good old net spend too - It's £63 Million up front. Selling Mané for £35/40 million, Minamino for £17 million. That's pretty much the base few covered.

You're not allowed to mention net spend Fin! :capnscotty:

Bless. :P
The context you mention it in is the key. Plus no one has said you (plural). Just you specifically.
Hope that helps.

Arsenal have finally announced the Marquinhos signing, another young Brazilian player. If he can be as good as Martinelli then i shall be happy. Good chance he may get loaned out or be in the u23's next season, all depends on how well he does pre season, can he force his way in.

There's apparently 2 sets of bonus clauses. One for the player himself and then other for team achievements, which again I'm more than happy with.

I hope he's a big hit though. Klopp wants him, that's more than good enough for me. He's rarely missed for us. 1

I could be wrong though. If he is starting on fire then it will be a great signing.

Some players came to the Premier League with a big transfer fee and they were struggling at the beginning or during the year. Example - Lukaku for £97m. Rubbish.

Hopefully we get a nice easy start to the season.

We wont though.

Pochettino binned by PSG - Zidane in next?

It's been believed for a long time that ZZ is now only interested in managing the French national team.

Possible introduction of kick-ins discussed by football's lawmakers Ifab -

Is there really anything wrong with a throw in?

It's Delap erasure from Wenger, is what it is.

Yeah, he's always had a bee in his bonnet about long throw-ins being used as an attacking option. I'm surprised he's still hanging on to it after all these years though.

Everyone likes goals.

Everyone hates throw ins.

So let's have a penalty every time the ball goes out of play.

Throw ins are a bit gooseberry fool though aren't they? I've never really seen them as integral to the fabric of the game or anything.

Throw-ins are great. Kick-ins would be an abomination.

I think it mixes it up a bit. Remember that stoke guy who used to treat a throw-in like a corner? Fun stuff.

Apparently £25m fee agreed between Tottenham and Brighton for Bissouma! Great signing if comes through.

The Brighton and Hove Albion footballer Yves Bissouma and another man are still waiting to learn the outcome of a police investigation into claims of sexual assault.

I can't imagine Levy would spend that sort of money without understanding the risks. From what I am reading it's his friend who is under investigation.

With Peresic completed, If Spurs can snag Richarlson and Eriksen, and a CB then I will be a very happy fan.

United fannying about trying to convince De Jong to join for mega money when there's a player as good as Bissouma, in a position they actually need quality, going for a comparable pittance - the mind boggles.

My point is that United are absolutely gagging for a CDM and have been for years, so when one with PL-proven quality was available for a low cost they don't even enter the bidding. Too busy chasing marquee signings as usual. It's Moyes's 2013 summer all over again :dread:
