Well, I'll be honest and say I never thought I'd see my username in an OP for a Football thread again. NFFC

When Liverpool win the Charity shield, they'll be going for a historic quintuple.

not that unhappy with Arsenal's fixture list, at least we getting a lot of the top 6 sides done in blocks. Dont know why we have to be the opening game again though. Fridays are not a good day for us.

It's because people don't like seeing Arsenal at the top of the table for too long, so they make you play first.

Worst signing in Premier League history?

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/61823095
Inter Milan are hoping to secure the return of Belgium striker Romelu Lukaku from Chelsea.

Lukaku is so keen to go back to Inter after a difficult season with the Blues that he would take a hefty wage cut.

Chelsea still want a loan fee for the 29-year-old, who they signed for £97.5m from the Serie A side in August 2021.

Inter are trying to limit their outgoings as they get their finances under control and there is no agreement yet on the size of the loan fee.

It is thought a deal will eventually be struck given Lukaku's eagerness to get back to Italy.

Lukaku, who left Chelsea to join Everton for £28m in 2014, returned to the Stamford Bridge side on a five-year deal from Inter last summer.
