Well it's been a fun enough ride but that's probably that.

in better news the scenes at Leverkusen are incredible - pitch invasion once Bayer went 5-0 up, ref called the game at 86 minutes or so, all the fans on the pitch celebrating, singing Sweet Caroline now
glorious :toot:

Ah what a rubbish set of results today. City seem to have gone into their usual late season formidable mode, can't really see them dropping any points in their remaining fixtures, that's probably the title done. :(

City will be three points ahead playing West Ham at home on the last day of the season and Sky will have to try to desperately play up that it's definitely going down to the wire.

Villa were great today, I don't think they're going to have to worry about fifth place potentially not getting a Champions League spot. I can see them having a solid run in Europe next year.

Surprised by Arsenal letting it get away from them. The Liverpool result had been coming for weeks and weeks. Find it hard to be too critical of this side as the league always seemed like a step too far given where we were last season. Just a shame that with Klopps leaving it's probably the closest they'll get.

I imagine City will just coast to the title now safe in the knowledge their cheating will continue to go unpunished. I'd expect Liverpool to continue to fall away, Arsenal I imagine will keep the pressure up but ultimately come up short.

Time for adventure

Would've been nice if Emery could've strawberry floated Spurs' CL bids over like that a few times when he managed us, but whatever :fp:

As a City fan, I wish to thank Liverpool and Arsenal for stepping back to allow the fans favourite to take the title advantage this weekend.

Long way to go yet mate. City have 4 away games and 2 at home.
Champignons League this week and the FA cup to throw in the mix.
It's a huge ask.

Personally I'd say if Ciry didn't win the treble, it would be laughable. ;)
