Along with a possible Metroid Prime Trilogy HD!!

Metroid Prime Trilogy would be a instant purchase for myself, maybe it's what Retro has actually been working on

Is there any hints this may actually be the case anyway? It's the first I've seen it mentioned.

Only some rumours that have appeared over the last few months. The rumour was that Nintendo was actively looking to bring the HD Trilogy to Switch before 4 comes out (like they did with Bayonetta)

Almost certainly multiplatform.

Winter of Arcade will be announced there as well.

Shame this on Thursday at stupid o clock in the morning. I’ll just watch the announcement trailers Friday but this should have some great stuff to show!

Don’t forget as well that Saturday evening Kinda Funny games are hosting a showcase also. They have said they have 60+ games to show off, likely a lot of indie stuff but should have some AAA games too!

If we get a proper reveal of Square Enix's Avengers game alongside the new Trailer for part 2 next year it's a wrap. Geoff you madman.

The Avengers 4 trailer is due any day now....would make sense to reveal the game when the trailer hype kicks in.

Would be incredible for TGA if they’ve secured that.

Yeah, if Geoff has secured A4 trailer for TGA that’s massive! Viewership will be through the roof!

Some posters on ResetEra getting carried away by "insiders" over there hinting at Prime Trilogy. Not getting hopes up too much but Prime Trilogy in HD would be glorious and would make a lot of sense, to help build some momentum for Prime 4. Plus announcing it at the TGA would mirror Bayonetta 1+2/3 last year, if they have a MP4 reveal too.

Also, Bluepoint have an unannounced remaster in development, are based in Texas and their Vice-President in ex Retro and worked on Prime 1 + 2. They've never worked with Nintendo before but who knows...

Damn, can you imagine if Ninty got Bluepoint on board to work on a series of remastered Nintendo Classics starting with Metroid Prime Trilogy..........that would be huge in my eyes!

It would be as Blue Point have done fantastic ports in the past. I'm, as you know, not really one for remasters, but if they do remaster something that I haven't played or something that is hard to get a hold of I could very well be tempted in picking some of them up.

Stuff like Super Mario Galaxy 1 & 2, Punchout Wil and F-Zero GX would be great additions to the Switch. Punchout and F-Zero GX especially as it doesn’t look like we are getting new releases in both series anytime soon.

Seen it mentioned on a few PUBG related sites that the 4th map is expected to be announced here. (the snowy mountain one) I mean it is due this winter, and they announced stuff last year, so it should not be a massive surprise. I would guess they would put it straight on to the test server too

I hope that will be enough to convince my friends to squad up again

Almost certainly multiplatform.

As Obsidian has been bought by Microsoft why would you think a new game is multiplatform?

Assuming the Obsidian game is a triple-A title, to form an idea when the game will be released it would be useful to know when it started development. Rumours of the MS acquisition first leaked in early August (with buying talks possibly started as far back as the start of 2018). So is the game a brand new project initiated since the MS purchase (meaning 2-3 years until release) or is it a project that Obsidian were already working on?

Any bets on what genre it is? I'm betting an first-person RPG - possibly in the Pillars of Eternity of Eora. Gamers love FRPGs and there isn't enough of them.

Who says it’s multiplatform?

I would imagine any new game shown was already far along development for all platforms when MS bought Obsidian. Given how far into the gen we are MS probably figure there’s more to be gained by profiting off multiplatform sales than shitcanning the work already done for the exclusivity boost to a platform that’s got limited potential for the rest of the gen regardless. If it turns out to be a cracker you’ll also create fans of a new franchise that will be more likely to come over to your platform next gen when sequels will be exclusive. It also looks good publicly which Spencer is all about these days.

It'll be down to existing contracts and what happened to them in the purchase.

Compulsion Games had a contract with Gearbox for them to publish We Happy Few which got released after Microsoft bought them, so the game got released on PS4 even though Compulsion is owned by MS.

The game Obsidian is working on is being published by Take-Two, so unless MS have paid them money to scrap any PS4 version they were working on (or if they weren't working on a PS4 version) then it'll probably be multiplatform.

Rumours -

On Thursday night, EA and BioWare will show off something about Dragon Age at The Game Awards.

Dragon Age 4 — or whatever name it’ll carry — is at least three years away

https://venturebeat.com/2018/12/04/dragon-age-4-2021/

Cult kart racer CTR: Crash Team Racing looks like it's making a comeback.

PlayStation Access presenter Hollie Bennett teased the following photo on Twitter - of a pair of Crash-coloured furry dice, the kind you might hang on a car's rear-view mirror. "Sliding into the Game Awards on 6/12," an accompanying message reads.

Eurogamer understands this tease to be the real deal, and Activision will make its CTR remake official later this week. It's no Mario Kart, but it'll keep us busy until Nintendo hits the track next.

I would guess a PS4 timed exclusive.
