Saw Jon Hopkins live at Warehouse Project last Friday, which was absolutely incredible. They then had DJ sets from John Talabot, Jamie xx, and Modeselektor. Was absolutely amazing.

Yeah, go for it man, it's definitely an experience. Just be aware that most people there are on ecstasy (I know some people don't like going to stuff where most people are on drugs and all).

Picked up Marmozets tickets for my dad for Xmas. Was desperate to nab System of a down ticket but I refuse to pay over 3x the price from a tout.

Currently at Alt-J at O2

I'm sat in the nose bleeds as opposed to standing which is a bit odd but they sound amazing. Taro is such a good song

Chilling in the pub with some ciders, getting pumped for Slipknot. I love walking around a town seeing everyone in band garb.

Get off the strawberry floating forum!

Mogwai just announced a pair of two night residencies, one at Barrowlands in Glasgow and another at the Roundhouse in London, both in June, in celebration of their 20th anniversary. Hopefully gonna get tickets to both nights.

Well Slipknot were awesome although for the past week I've had those "gig blues" where it all felt like a dream that didn't really happen. :(

Anyone going Download this year? I can't turn down another chance to see Slippy and the Mrs would quite like to see Muse too. Planning to hopefully order some tickets this week, just hoping my car doesn't cost too much tomorrow (it's making a noise so got it in for a service and a look over).

Not this year. Slipknot aside the line up is atrocious - I've already seen them four times as well so it's not worth the cost for me this year.

Not to worry. I would've expected the prospect of meeting my fine self would've been more than worth a ticket though. :(

I haven't been in 10 years but there's a decent crowd of people I know going this year so, coupled with Slipknot, it should be a fun weekend.

Yeah if there's a good crowd of people going it doesn't really matter who is playing, the weekend will be great regardless.

Out of interest, would you recommend either standard camping or quiet camping over the other? All I can see on the Download website is that quiet camping has a noise curfew of midnight which suits me but I don't want to find out that it's situated an extra 100 miles away from anywhere. Is it even much different to the standard camping? So long as no one drunkenly falls onto our tent and smothers me to death I'll be happy really.
