Got tickets for Young Fathers in Glasgow. Of course once the Friday was announced they announced a Saturday show as well due to popular demand, would have much preferred that date.

Download are announcing their headliners tonight at 9pm. If they're decent, I think I'll make it my festival swansong - there's not much camping left in my body, and I'd like to expend it on something with decent music involved.

Festivals in (or near) big cities with lots of hotels nearby...

Had a look at London, and the cheapest there were £90.

Standard tickets were £90/£110 at most venues.
The VIP packages were very pricey although with the £700 one you got to go on stage with her for one song.

Download is right between Pink and Harry Styles so I won't be going.

Don't get me wrong, now. I think she's alright.

Kendrick last night was absolutely phenomenal. Have seen him from smallish Glasgow venue to Latitude Festival to Rod Laver in Melbourne and now the O2 and every time he's been incredible.

Saw Biffy Clyro supported by The Architects at Bham NEC / Resorts World last Friday. Pretty good overall although can’t say I’d rush to see either again.

There are plenty more gigs that I'm going to that i'll enjoy - Enter Shikari and Flogging Molly at Slam Dunk, Maiden and Neck Deep are always good. Don Broco with Papa Roach will be fun and Blink 182 should be ace. In fairness, I've seen Pink and HS both before and cant complain on the performances. Plus Pink ticket is in Golden Circle. I'll be able to smell her. [/multiple Miggs]
