I was also at this gig. Not a band I was a huge fan of (gf is) but the show was incredible. Playing for over 3 hours and including requests from the crowd, in an arena - awesome.

I was there last night too, he was strawberry floating incredible, the best live act I've ever seen. I totally lost my gooseberry fool when Dre came out though.

Got tickets for The Knife  Had tickets for them last year, but they cancelled... I've been waiting too long to see them.

I went to see The National last week in Edinburgh. Fantastic gig. Sound wasn't great, but band were awesome.

Just bought tickets to see John Grant in November too. Looking forward to that one, and First Aid Kit in September.

I figured the last one was out of date. I've no idea who he even is tbh, just thought the people deserved to know.

Spent the last week at Benicassim. Lineup was weak due to management issues over the last year but still caught some amazing acts. Drenge, Wolf Alice, Klaxons, Tame Impala, Kasabian and The Libertines were all amazing.

The weather made for such a nice atmosphere, 35 degrees in the day and mid 20s at night. Lovely stuff.

Applied to volunteer at Bestival this year. Great lineup so I'm sure I'll have plenty to do when I'm not working. Heard nothing but good things about the atmosphere there.

Saw Converge the other night. One of the best gigs I've ever been to. Absolutely beasting setlist (Grim Heart/Black Rose  ) and the venue was awesome. No barrier, stage diving free for all. Nearly died at least twice.

Went a few years ago and I preferred it to Glastonbury. Same sort of vibe but a bit more manageable in size.

Got tickets for Chvrches' next gig in London. Going to be the third time I've seen them this year :slol:

Hoping they shake the setlist up a bit, as their last gigs/festivals have all been pretty much identical... I'd love for them to do a few of their Live Lounge covers

I think my brother wants to go and see them at their Barrowlands gig. I told him to get us tickets because I'm not due another wage until November. :slol:

They only have one album, so they only play songs from that at the moment. There isn't much shaking up they can really do.

There's at least four songs I've never heard them play, though :shifty: Every show doesn't have to be exactly the same.

They said they were in the studio the other day, so there might be a few new tunes in there. Finger's crossed!

Still, it'll be worth it just for Night Sky, By the Throat and Under the Tide. Dat dance

Pissed Jeans were pretty fun, though had a rather anti-climatic ending. Not going to another gig till November now, which kind of sucks. I'd go Jane's Addiction next Thursday if I had the money and could get the time off.
