Royal Blood were excellent last night. Great music to just go mental in a pit too, but technically they were incredibly tight and very clear.

Anyone on here like OMD? I've got two (VIP) tickets for their Liverpool Museum gig on Saturday the 1st of November that I now can't actually get to :( They're going for insane money on stubhub, but if anyone's willing to give me face value (£95 each) then you're welcome to them.

VIP tickets will also include:

An exclusive ‘never seen before’ album art work poster, rrp £20
VIP complimentary bar
DJ set – Eric’s style playlist
Post gig ‘audience with the band’

Who are OMD? Is that their full name? I'll stick it in the thread title for ya.

Off to London soon for the Invictus Games closing concert. Foo Fighters.

Although I still can't work out why my idiot mate has booked us all on the 7.40am train. 7.40am on a strawberry floating Sunday. :fp:

Slipknot tickets on sale from 9am on Friday. I'm determined to go see them so looks like Nottingham Jan 26th is the one for me. Any idea how quickly the tickets will still out? I really don't want to miss them so I'm paranoid that if I'm not online at 9 I'll miss them. I'm not a huge gig goer toer so no idea if that's likely.

Slipknot haven't toured in a while - they haven't played Glasgow since 2008 - so expect them to go pretty quickly, especially since Korn are supporting.

I have no idea how popular Slipknot are nowadays, but popular stuff sells out very quickly. Set an alarm and be online before 9am ready to go!

If you live near the gig venue it is sometimes worth actually going there in person. I was in an online queue for over an hour before I noticed somebody on Twitter say they had just walked into the Colston Hall and bought them. A 10 minute walk later and I had my gig tickets while the online shop was still crashing.

Cheers guys. I live in Leicester so no chance of getting to Nottingham to buy a ticket there. :P I'm sure I'll be okay booking online though. I've asked my boss if I can come into work a bit later on Friday and work through my lunch. So I'll be sitting in front of my PC well before 9am on Friday morning. Hopefully won't be sitting in an hour queue online though as I'll have to leave home around 9:20 to get to work. I won't be able to relax all week now until I know I've got two tickets on the way.
