If you can, book them via Ticketmaster. Their online system is excellent, if you're on for 9am then you'll usually have tickets by five past.

Yeah you'll be ok with Ticketmaster. The site I was talking about was the venues own website.

... and I've got mine for Royal Blood! Missed them last time out and was absolutely gutted, can't wait to see them already. March is too far away.

I don't think I've ever seen anyone freak out like that over using Ticketmaster.

I guess it's just his plague.

Off to see The Antlers tonight. Haven't looked forward to a gig this much in ages, even if their latest album isn't quite their best work.

EDIT - Well, that was awesome. :)

Well, the Camden Underworld is a terrible venue (massive pillars right in front of the stage, srsly :| ), but Poets of the Fall were amazing  Hopefully them selling out in seconds will convince them to come back to the UK (and maybe play a few more venues - I'd love for them to come to Birmingham).

Tremendous setlist, too:

Daze
Diamonds for Tears
Love Will Come to You
King of Fools
Running Out of Time
Rogue
Choice Millionaire
Illusion & Dream
Locking Up the Sun
Brighter Than The Sun
Cradled in Love
Nothing Stays The Same

(Encore)
Late Goodbye
Dreaming Wide Awake
Jealous Gods
Shallow
Lift
Carnival of Rust

Highlights: Lift, Late Goodbye (acoustic  ), Brighter than the Sun, Rogue

Can't believe they didn't play Rumours, though. Easily the best track from Jealous Gods :(

Glad you enjoyed. I had tickets to see them in Bristol last night, however a new course I got on to in work meant I had an exam this morning so I had to give it a miss, gutted. :(

So, Chvrches last night. The Brixton Academy is *huge*! Nice venue, but really awful sound. Farrr too bassy (that kind of distorted bass that makes your heart rattle with every beat :dread: )

Pretty much the same setlist as usual, but they threw Dead Air ( ) and the live debut of Get Away in there as well

Wish they'd stop playing You Caught the Light, though. It's the only song on the album I don't like.

2 weeks till I see Volbeat in Manchester, as long as the tickets I bought off TicketMaster in August turn up. :shifty:

Anyone else a Volbeat fan?

Seeing Taylor Swift again next year  Can't wait! Tried to get tickets for Manchester but they all vanished in seconds, so I ended up getting VIP tickets for the British Summertime Festival instead (she's headlining this year). Not ideal, but I'm hoping there'll be a few other bands there to sweeten the deal. It'll be my first "festival", too. But we get exclusive bars/eateries/toilets so it's all good.

Anyone going to see Sleater-Kinney on their forthcoming UK tour?

VIP at BST is awful. They split the crowd so normal ticket holders get 2/3rds of the front whilst one third is just VIP. At Arcade Fire the normal area was like a party whilst the VIP just seemed dead. Thought they'd get rid of it this year because it can't be great as a peformer but I guess not.
