There are only three acts on there I'd absolutely go and see, and one of them is Frank Turner who I've seen six times and would always go see

Same with me and Metallica really. Five times I've seen them.

I recognise less than 10 of them and I'm only 30 :fp: The Bizkit obviously the best band there.

This is also the first time I've never heard of a headliner (on the NME stage) who the hell are Rebel Sound?

They're a drum and bass/soundclash group, Chase and Status being the biggest name involved.

Oh man, June is the month that just keeps on giving. Poets of the Fall have just announced another show in London

So that's POTF, Idina Menzel and Taylor Swift all in the same month. So good.

Saw Placebo last night in Dublin. First time, great live band as expected. Running up that hill was played, love their version.

Here's a snap I took:

Well in buddy, I've seen them thrice in Glasgow and they're always a fantastic live band. Missed out on this tour sadly.

SW4 Saturday line up is looking insane so far, Faithless reunion and Eric Prydz alone have me sold.

Booked my tickets for Hevy Fest earlier. I was definitely going to go as soon as Dillinger were announced, anything from here on is a bonus. Now I need to start listening to all these other bands i've not heard of before.

Booked tickets for Slam Dunk. I've not been before, but the South one is 10 mins from me, and the addition of While She Sleeps, The Bronx and Mariachi El Bronx pushed me over the edge.

Just got back from seeing Royal Blood. Holy gooseberry fool they were good, not that I expected them not to be. So strawberry floating tight and really know how to put on a performance. Haven't been this excited about a band in a long time.

I missed this post - glad they were enjoyable. I'd quite like to see them at some stage.

Love my gigs and concerts. Went to see Europe at Rock City last Tuesday, The Final Countdown is one of those great live tracks everybody should see, as a bonus they were supported by The Black Star Riders who are effectively just Thin Lizzy under a new name and they did all my favourite Thin Lizzy stuff so it was a great gig. Also went to Steel Panther at the Leicester O2 Academy on Friday which was hilarious as ever, got a few videos, this was a right laugh and the crowd participation and banter was top notch all night:

I'm loving how up in arms the chaps are getting over Kanye headlining.

If only there was a well-known example of a hip hop artist who everyone thought was the wrong fit to headline Glastonbury but who proved everybody wrong and drew a massive crowd to boot.
