It's not just hip hop, loads of people complained that Metallica headlined. Some people are only happy if it's Coldplay and Mumford and Sons.

Kanye's an absolute megastar. Seems a fine booking to me.

Even if it has been all downhill since College Dropout.

Now all we need's Daft Punk for the Sunday and I'm there.

Pleasantly surprised by Prides on Monday  They played a couple of "new" songs, but my friend with the camera didn't actually record either of them. Letdown..

Saw Catfish and the Bottlemen at Shepherd's Bush on Tuesday. They were better than I thought they were going to be, and I thought they'd be decent. Really good set, albeit a bit short. Sounded raw but professional, which is a good combo in my book.

I had access to the weds/Thurs presale , and the general release, they all went straight to resellers, pissed me right off. But I can't miss this, I loved seeing them at Download a few years back.

I'm getting incredibly hyped for Download now. I can't wait. Has anyone decided to go this year? I know not many people seemed interested when tickets went up.

The line up was dick. They've added a few more decent bands to the undercard now but if I'm paying £200 for five days in a field then I'd like a few top notch bands that don't play every second year to be in there as well.

It's a taste thing I guess, all the decent bigger bands playing are ones I've seen at least twice.

I'm paying £200 for a single day in a field for one person :shifty:

Saw Delta Rae on Tuesday in London. Their first show in Europe, so it was an absolutely tiny venue. So small they could do this:

Completely unplugged encore from the middle of the crowd. So good  Quite a short set, and I'm still disappointed they didn't play Outlaws, but there's always next time..

I went to see S Club 7 last night, for old times sake lol. They were really good and they did solos too.
Rachel's solo was awesome haha, Even Tina did a solo but her voice isn't too good lol

I have never been to the Glastonbury Festival and really want to go. How does it work? I'm I too late to get tickets now?
thanks

It's way too late to get Glastonbury tickets. You need to pre-register for them almost a year before the festival.

And you realise that S Club 7 are unlikely to be there right?

I don't actually remember. I think it's the Friday. I haven't been hyped for it at all until I made a Foo's CD for my car and now I just can't bloody wait. They may not be my favourite band anymore, but the best show I've ever been too was the Foo Fighters at Wembley Stadium a few years ago so I'm hoping for more of the same.
