Send a bit of angry fan mail to Dave Grohl, see if he'll help you sort it out. :shifty:

Blur were awesome! I love them anyway but that was a great gig.

On slowest train ever home at moment. 2 hours from Paddington to Bristol. :dread:

Saw METZ last week in Camden, sweatiest show I've been to in a while. Underworld is a weird venue, not a fan of pillars in crowds.

Ended up with tickets to see Fleetwood Mac in a couple of weeks as well. Glastonbury this weekend, Fleetwood Mac the weekend after 8-)

It's such a poorly laid out place :dread: the single tiny staircase to the lower section clogs up so bad.

In other news, I'm on the way back from Idina Menzel. So good  Highlights: Take Me Or Leave Me (for the fan interaction! Omfg), Always Starting Over and Let It Go. Had the whole crowd singing along  The cold never bothered me anywayyyyy.

Yeah, I made sure to get down there way before the band came on just to avoid the rush.

Bar has a weird shutter thing above it as well, I'm about 6 foot 4 so I had to bend to see the barman. Very awkward.

Going to my first Glastonbury on Wednesday! :toot:

Despite the mixed reaction, definitely looking forward to Kanye the most, also saw Run the Jewels the other week and they were great so will try and see them on the Friday.

Apart from that not too fussed about who I see which i think is quite good as then i can just go with what others are seeing (quite a big group of us are going), my main concern is how to get my beer to the festival via train/coach/walk :dread:

Have fun BTB, Glastonbury is great even if you are not a fan of the main headline acts. It is so huge that you can easily avoid the main stage and still have plenty to do/see. Kanye will be interesting as it has the potential to be a disaster, but I think he will put on a good show.

I don't even see how it can be a potential disaster really, unless he doesn't show up or something. He'll draw an enormous crowd and put on a good show, of course he will.

If he is on form then it will be great. If he is looking for publicity or acting a banana split then it could be a disaster.

Things like this could sour his performance: http://metro.co.uk/2014/09/15/watch-the ... p-4869205/

Also off to Glasto, my first one. Fair few acts I want to see, but I can't really be bothered running around festivals anymore so I guess I'll miss a few in favour of a beer.

Only just had chance to properly sit down after the weekend. Oh. My. God. Taylor Swift in Hyde Park was just phenomenal

Her little speech before Clean as well

Highlights - New Romantics, Blank Space, You Are In Love  Just... everything.

Ellie Goulding wasn't that bad either, tbf.

Off to see a Foo Fighters tribute band tonight (with a Blink 182 tribute as a warm up). No idea if they are supposed to be any good or not, but I haven't seen any live music for a while so I am looking forward to it. Plus it is at a venue that is only a 2 or 3 minute walk from where I live.

Turned out it was a pretty good night, the Blink 182 tribute were performing for the first time but weren't too bad (terrible "banter" between songs though :dread: ). The Foo Fighters tribute were good and I was wrecked on Black Rat by the time they came on so it wouldn't have mattered what they sounded like anyway.

Highlight of the night was bumping into my cousin-in-law who dragged my missus into a mosh pit that had formed. She shat herself when he pulled her into it, but she seemed to enjoy it.

Went to Hevy Fest over the weekend and saw a bunch of bands. The highlights being Dillinger Escape Plan, Protest The Hero & Heck. The rest was... Monuments, Thrice, Fall of Troy, HORSE The Band, Coheed & Cambria, Chon, Hacktivist, Touche Amore, Black Peaks, Arcane Roots and Ohhms.

At least I think that's it. I spent far too much time and money on drinking this weekend to remember it all. :shifty:

Was in my first proper mosh pits for years too, came out of the Dillinger Escape Plan one literally dripping with sweat off my forehead. They're pretty much the best band ever.
