She always seems cool to me. I met her once after a London show and she was lovely, she even touched my arm

Does anyone use Last.fm to keep track of their gigs? I stupidly did and they've recently had a new version of the site and completely got rid of that feature so now I don't know what half of my gigs are :fp: a lot are etickets so I have to trawl through 1,000s of emails to find any of them

Ents24 is the best I've used, massively comprehensive and easy to keep track of artists, venues and specific gigs.

Got a fair bit lined up over the next couple of months:

The Music of Twin Peaks: Xiu Xiu
An Acoustic Evening With: Devin Townsend
Godspeed You! Black Emperor
Silent Hill Live
Katzenjammer
The Album Leaf
SikTh

Got tickets for Foals arena tour in February. Going to the Birmingham date. Their new stuff sounded incredible at Reading so looking forward to seeing them again.

They make a fuckton of money down there because they're just about the only regularly touring metal band. I'm not even sure they sold the SECC out on their last album tour.

With that said, I fully expect them to announce UK shows after June in the same way the Prodigy did after TITP this year in Scotland.

I'm not arsed about this to be honest - they've headlined a UK festival something like 4 times in 6 years and the metal festival scene is getting a bit stale now. I fully expect the next headliner announcement tonight to be something like Metallica, Avenged Sevenfold or something like that.

Metallica have toured nonstop since Death Magnetic was released and prior to it and have played every festival in that time. Iron Maiden have toured alot in that amount of time but not as much as the are you alive do yew want heavy Metallica who need to give it a break for a while IMO yet they have a new album out next year so expect them to tour even more

Black Sabbath are headlining Saturday at Download. Really hope I can go as last year was my first and I loved every minute. Although, unless I'm a Jaffa I think a baby's more likely to be on the priority list.

Those are two very good headliners for Download. It's highly unlikely but if they manage to get someone like Metallica or Foo Fighters i'm pretty much guaranteed to be going. Booked the time off work today just incase. :shifty:
