It's supposed to be a heartfelt song but I used to get a funny feeling in my privates when she sang "lying naked on the floor".
Six more for Download - Nightwish, Deftones, Korn, Megadeth, Motörhead and Disturbed. Also rumours swirling that there'll be a Sonisphere announcement this week.
Saw Prides last night in the small room at the Institute. Best entrance music I've heard at a gig They played I Just Can't Wait to be King from the Lion King before they came out Did a better job of getting the crowd going than either of the supports did...
On the way to Birmingham for Chvrches! Second time I've seen their Every Open Eye set so I'm not massively hyped at the moment. Not the biggest fan of the O2 Academy either (it's incredibly rundown for what should be a flagship venue and the balcony/pillars are wayyy too obnoxious). Still, love me some Lauren/Iain/Martin. They're on at 9:15 though so it's gonna be a sprint back to Moor Street for the last train Doors open at 7, one support (at 8!), so I'm not sure why they're turning up so late. Wouldn't really be an issue if London Midland weren't awful. Stupid public transport.

From last night's Frank Turner gig. He dedicated a song to the Paris attacks and a friend of his who died there. Started out as one guy with a lighter (who I took the piss out of ) but slowly grew into this. Amazing moment
Ash are one of those bands that I've enjoyed since I started listening to music but I've never seen. Had no idea they were still touring. Have they got Charlotte back yet?
Depresses me when I see how long they've been going for
No I think Charlotte's long gone Wikipedia says she played some gigs with them when touring their Best Of a few years ago, but I don't think she had anything to do with their new album.
