I've got:

Riverside Festival(Fatboy Slim)
Primavera Sound Festival(Radiohead, Sigur Ros, LCD Soundsystem)
The Offspring and Bad Religion
M83

All coming up between last weekend of May and 27th of June. Haven't been to a gig yet this year, so this'll be a good month or so hopefully. :D

Excited for not this Saturday but next, seeing Coldplay @ Manchester on the 4th June, then on the Sunday going to my first Gig @ Wembley Stadium to see 'The Boss' Bruce Springsteen. I'll be fooked come the Monday after them, but cannot wait!

The Springsteen concert will be great. I saw him at Coventry 2 or 3 years ago (day after Tony Sopprano died and Little Steven was visibly upset at times during the dedication Bruce did when playing Born to Run (the whole album)). He played for over 3 hrs and has such a rapport with the fans.

I was about 10 ft away from him at some points when he ventured out to the sides of the stage. Got some great photos. Enjoy!

Thanks King, sounds like you had a fantastic time. You've made me even more giddy, it'll be the first time I've seen The Boss too.

The Springsteen gig I've been to is easily one of the best gigs I've ever been to, without doubt.

I'll be at Springsteen in Cov next week. Looking forward to it, seen him there a few years ago and it was a good show. I am going to a nice variety of stuff this year, Andrea Bocelli in Sheffield, Elton John in Leicester, Steel Panther in Birmingham xD

Decided I'd give Download a miss as Maiden were the only band I was bothered about seeing this year......

I was there to and will be again on the 3rd :D

I'm a naughty youtuber and recorded this last time:

Great concert. Plenty of vids in my uploads if anyone is interested in looking at any of the other stuff I've been to. I'm primarily a rocker but I just love live music. Best show I've been to so far was a 2 day double camp over thing seeing Bon Jovi @ Milton Keynes National Bowl in 2006....

Was great fun. Basically when you go and see The Boss you become a drunken Irishman for the day :slol:

I was at Coventry and had an even worse view this time due to some absolutely piss poor organisation. Every parking site was signed up as prepaid only, even the unofficial one I used a few years ago. Traffic was a pissing nightmare and all in all it was not a pleasant experience. Eventually after we ran out of ideas I pulled into one of the prepaid only ones near the stadium and they said 'or you can just pay £20'. Like I said, piss poor organisation - maybe they just let us in as we were late. So we missed the first few songs but it was a decent gig again, albeit at Coventry they insist on setting up a giant merc stand in the middle of the standing area which meant we had to be content with the music this time. Atmosphere was great though. I always love recording these songs to capture the atmosphere and drunken singing.

I also really love the Irish themed songs Bruce does. Tempted to travel over to Dublin next time and see them there xD

Wanted to do maiden on the Sunday but I've used all my leave allowance and there's no way I could do a festival and drive back for 4am and go to work at 6. Hopefully they announce the o2 arena again.

My sister got me a weekend ticket for my birthday. Looking forward to seeing:

Friday:

Rammstein (one of my favourite bands)
Korn
Killswitch Engage

Saturday:

Black Sabbath
Deaftones
Skindred

Not really arsed about anyone other than Iron Maiden on the Sunday. Will be going to the WWE NXT shows every day as well depending on who they clash with.

Yeah the parking was a nightmare at the Ricoh a few years ago. I was turned away from several official car parks as I hadn't pre booked ( I don't ever recall being given the chance to prebook parking when I bought my ticket off Ticketmaster or wherever anyway). Ended up parking in a pub forecourt which was charging £15. I was outraged but had no choice. When the gig finished I was stuck in that car park for about 90 mins due to some very choice/tightly slotted in parking.

Anyway I work in Coventry now and drive past Ricoh some days depending upon how traffic is on the M42/M6. Still wrankles me to this day how damn bad the parking was/is
