Saturday:

Deaftones
Skindred

Not really arsed about anyone other than Iron Maiden on the Sunday. Will be going to the WWE NXT shows every day as well depending on who they clash with.

I went for the Friday. Missed Killswitch because we just had to get out of the rain for a bit. A workmate stayed in the yurts just behind the main arena and even their beds and all their belongings got totally soaked.

Babymetal, Korn and Rammstein were definitely the highlights despite the crazy weather.

Saw Rammstein (best live performance I've ever seen), Korn (not bad), Baby Metal (never seen or heard anything from them before but they were genuinely great) and Killswitch (excellent).

Forgot Deftones clashed with Skindred so just went to see the latter. Got the times mixed up and got there early and saw Against The Current just starting their show. Never heard of them before and apparently they were filling in for another band on two days notice and hadn't performed live in a few months but they were really, really good, I'll definitely be checking their album out. Skindred were fantastic, Benji Webbe is such a good frontman for live shows. Loved the little remixes and stuff they did in-between songs, especially that dubstep one that really got the crowd going. Black Sabbath were alright, felt a bit sorry for NOFX who were on the other stage at the same time, the crowd for them was tiny because everyone went straight for the main stage after Skindred.

strawberry floated off on Sunday morning because we couldn't be arsed with any more rain, the campsites we saw were fine but the arena looked like it was becoming potentially dangerous last night. The mud was really deep and thick at some points and it would have been easy to get your foot stuck and fall, we left just after 12 this morning and it started pissing down again so god knows what state it was in for the rest of the day. We were in the Quiet Camping bit which was literally the furthest site away from the arena, probably took a good 30-40 minutes to walk there depending on how busy it was. There also weren't any toilets in our section so we had to go to the next bit, and strawberry float knows whose idea it was to make the Quiet Camping the closest site to the airport runway :| Our tents were fine after the rain, just a bit damp due to the condensation and humidity and it probably helped that we were uphill. If I go again I'll definitely be going for the R.I.P. camping or one of the Travelodge package deals or whatever. The car park closest to our camp site was full and closed when we got their at half 9 on Friday morning and it was easily more than an hours walk from the other car park to where we pitched our tents.

It sounds horrendous and I'm really glad I didn't go now. I was painfully jealous on Wednesday but even the rain last year dampened my spirits so no way would I have enjoyed myself in this weekend's weather. The arena looks dreadful from pictures I've seen.

There was a shower on Friday afternoon that was mental, my sister and I genuinely thought it was hailstones because the drops were that big and heavy. It delayed Baby Metal starting by almost half an hour because they had to mop the stage and sweep all the water off. Luckily it didn't rain like that for long.

There were longer showers on the Saturday, not as heavy but still annoying. A lot of people left during Black Sabbath because of it. Looked like there were loads of folk leaving this morning too, about a quarter of our camping bit had left before I even woke up at 9am and there was a reasonably big crowd heading towards our car park when we were leaving too.

When we were leaving there was plenty of folk walking in with just shorts and t-shirts and trainers. Don't think they realised what the mud was like.

EDIT: look at the flooding in the video here http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-le ... e-36506549

The Muse set is on Youtube, I watched it on there. Are they not on iPlayer, BBC has the broadcasting rights I think.

Yeah, there are highlights/whole sets of pretty much everyone on the main stages. There's a live stream too. Apart from employing Gemma Cairny, the BBC's coverage is top notch

It's been lost in the country burning to the ground.

But the BBCs coverage of Glastonbury really is strawberry floating brilliant  You can sign in, bookmark all your favourites, watch full clips from all stages across the 3 days. It's just bloody great.

Check out Foals if you can. They really should have headlined and proved it with their set.

Watching Tame Impala now and they've been very good

I've only seen the Muse and Fatboy Slim sets, both were excellent.

Will be watching Gary Clark Jr and LCD Soundsystem tonight but there's been very little else that interests me this year.

I watched the New Order set on BBC last night. It was a bit strange, as the drummer was sat behind a full, proper drum kit, but all the percussion sounds were so synthetic sounding. Presumably they were just using triggers with synthetic sounds programed in, but it felt really odd to watch a live performance with such a disconnect between what you're seeing and hearing.

That Tame Impala set  Really enjoyed that.

Caught a little of the Coldplay set at the end, for all the gooseberry fool they get, they do put on a good live performance and that Viola Beach tribute was just lovely.

LCD Soundsystem were superb, was a bit disappointed they didn't play Sound of Silver but otherwise it was a great set.

James Murphy doesn't look anything like I imagined him to.

I'm still tempted to get a T in the Park Sunday ticket just to see them because they are one of my favourite bands.
