Kings of Leon are doing 2 gigs at Wrexham in May. I was quite tempted, £82 a ticket
I was very impressed with Yungblud. Obviously with Neck Deep being local I'm a huge fan but YB was great. Gigswise it's The Levellers next, in Shrewsbury of all places and then Don Broco/Papa Roach. Bought tickets to FOB in Manchester, Brum and Caerdydd for October. No more gigs this year now.
Going to see them at Hyde Park this year. Praying for some good support acts as they've not announced any yet, although Royal Blood are doing some gigs with them around then so I'd love it if they appeared.
I enjoyed it but it was plagued with sound issues. And I'm still not sure how much of it was the equipment and how much it was the deterioration in Axl's voice.
Saw Tool last year and LOVED them. Wonderful experience.
Re Ozzy, I thought he’d cancelled all touring? He announced that not long ago I read?
Saw GnR at their peak in May 93, and couple times since around 2010-12. Axe’s voice is not what I’d choose to listen to live now I must admit.
Metallica Seen them loads and they always deliver. Off to my first Download this year purely cos of them and FFDP.
Never seen AC/DC although own a live DVD so I’ve kinda seen their show. Would love to see them live.
Maiden live are something I’ve seen once and that was enough. Bruce didn’t do it for me live I’m afraid. That was 93 I think, it was the night of the FA Cup final replay between Arsenal v Sheff Weds. He kept running off to check the score and update us. (Pre internet days kids!)
Slightly off topic, but not sure if there’s a comedy thread
We saw Jim Jefferies live the other night. Brutal. Outrageous. Absolutely hilarious. He said so many things he asked us not to repeat as he’d get cancelled and Netflix would drop him.
Literally crying with laughter at some of it. Yes, I’m a bad person

Yeah, he's not up to the physical demands of all the travelling any more, which I can appreciate. Poor guy is a bit of wreck. But one-offs like this, with plenty of rest either side, he'll hopefully be OK. He reckons his voice is fine.
Saw Razorlight at Brum's O2 Academy last Friday night. Ended up on the very front row purely by being a new O2 customer and being 5th in the Priority queue or whatever they call it (thanks to Virgin Mobile being acquired by O2).
Have to say I really enjoyed them. Saw them support Kaiser Chiefs in 2020 and they were good enough to go see them headline their own.
Decent support from Afflecks Palace. Think Oasis/Liam complete with bucket hat and sunglasses all gig. Indoors. At night!.
9/10 for me. Mosh pit behind me surprised a few 50yr old women near me from halfway in too
Finally got to see Avril Lavigne again this week at Alexandra Palace after buying the ticket three years ago. Totally awesome concert completely sold out! Over 10,000 fans (standing only). She did well selling out three shows in the U.K to over 30,000 fans!! Vocals were 10/10 just phenomenal!!! After all these years she still loves Sk8er Bois!! She said ahaha!
