Hardly, it is daft and amusing, that's good with me.

The short bit where they drove a car was good.

Does that mean that he's not coming on then?

Sounds to be much less serious than first thought.

Am watching it now, tis rather good much more together and stuff than last series.

It feels like they have used whatever method they used to use to come up with shows and disregarded the stacks of money so aren't going ott on expensive pointlessness.

First episode was ok, better than most of the first series.

It could do with less sketches though, Clarkson getting colonic isn’t something the show needs.

James May has really let himself go.

Richard Hammond now looks a bit like Guy Fawkes.

Jeremy Clarkson is now much more older and fragile. Time is taking it's toll on the anti-hero.

He's morphing into Christopher Biggins.

James May reminds me of John Virgo on that front, but Virgo is only in front of the cameras once in a blue moon.

I'd really hope May does another series of Toy Stories as they're always excellent.

Yeah I’d like to see more of that.

I also liked the Reassembler. It’s basically just him in a shed putting something back together for 30 minutes, but it was far more interesting than it sounds.

Yeah deffo better again, lots of funny bits, loved the calls to the jetBlue and stuff obviously planned but funny all the same.

Now if only they had a good track as the iboladrome is a really hard track.

The latest episode felt like an old new Top Gear show. A stupid challenge with May/Hammond using public transport against Clarkson in a supercar. Great stuff.

The best things about them on Top Gear was challenges like that. I guess they can’t steal too many of the Top Gear format, but I would like to see a return to the cheap car challenges as well. Give them £500-£1000 each, get them to buy a sports car and tell them to drive somewhere. That’s far more enjoyable to watch than them trying to act in a parody of Edge of Tomorrow. :dread:

Judging by the "coming up" stuff it looks like that may happen.

It does seem they have a clearer idea of what they can and can't do which means they can relax more into the show and not be worrying it isn't going to be sued or whatever.

I quite like that this year they have stopped swearing like TG used to be, it sort of feels more "normal" that way with the odd bleep, like they can swear and stuff but it works better and is funnier when they dont.
