Mate, you're acting like the show is presented to people as The Big Bang Theory in cars.

And you're acting like it's presented as Planet Earth in cars.

Can confirm: would watch this.

So boring. Just a bunch of overweight middle-aged, ugly men being idiots.

Did mean to post this in the podcast thread?

I don't understand....

Should it be scantily clad women that present the show?

Only handsome men should present?

I personally wasn't too bothered by the show. It's a hour of good and bad entertainment. We all waste time on far worse things.

For those who can't watch it I do believe it's going to turn up on terrestrial at some point in 2017.

I thought they said they were having a different one each week from the country they were in

Ah right maybe. As the track was in the U.K. I assumed that it would be the same guy.

Christ, the second episode... Utter drivel.

The first wasn't that bad.

Episode 2 starts well with a decent bit about the Aston Martin Vulcan but then the next 30 minutes is pure garbage.

It will be the same guy, otherwise the comparisons will be pointless. Although even using the same guy is a fairly pointless way of comparing car performance.

Yes?

The new guy doing the laps is just not funny.

It'll be interesting to see as this progresses whether the budget is actually too big. When you are limited to what you can do on the BBC that can actually lead to more creativity because the answer isn't 'well just throw more money at it'. It's like Hollywood. The budgets get bigger, more stuff blows up, and yet the films inexplicably get worse.

I didn't think it was all that bad, not the best ever but you got a lot of alright stuff with TG so it's cool.

It was just like your average Top Gear episode from the last 5 years. Scripted and lots of bad jokes but still entertaining enough. I enjoyed this one more than last week, just because it had three features rather than one.

The Nascar guy is not funny at all, that bit doesn't work, but I'm glad they got rid of the celebrity laps.

Didn't like this episode. They didn't really have a goal, would have been funny if they were actually trying.

I just felt a bit ripped off that they repeated the same gooseberry fool so much in the 'SAS' segment. I know it was intentional, but it was just so boring to watch.

Just watched the second ep and thought it was terrible, but I always hated the stuff where they pretend they're being shot at. Also, the theme tune is like music from an American alcohol advert.
