PP has put a lot of time and effort into this, and all you can do is bitch because you didn't read the original post properly, and spent your no doubt precious time putting your choices in order.

A 'best ever' list isn't supposed to end debate, but start it.

There's nothing to talk about. Lots and lots of popular games we all know and like.

This only reveals half the truth; it was never gonna be definitive, just an indication of this forum's tastes.

Advance Wars, Civ 4, CoH, Crackdown, Deus Ex, Fable 2, GTA IV, Half Life 2, Halo, Ico, OutRun 2, RE4, Rez, Rock Band (should be series), SoMI, SWOS, SotC, KotOR, Galaxy, Super Monkey Ball.

My entire top 10 and 10 of the others all on the list.

Ouendan, Chibi Robo, PacMan CE, World of Goo and Wario Ware Twisted, my nominations that didn't make the list. Understandable in most cases I guess.

A few oddities, the wrong Burnout for starters (although at least it wasn't Revenge), Worms Armageddon is a bit of an odd choice, I'm personally of the opinion that all wrestling based games (and in fact anything) should be gotten rid of, so WWF No Mercy shouldn't be there...

...but overall its a pretty good (in fact surprisingly good) list. Can't complain about the vast majority of the games there.

It was never the point of the project. The very first post originally (he's since edited it with random rules) stated that it would be an alphabetical list, not a numbered one.

If I understand it correctly then us ordering the games in our list gave each game a different amount of points so it would still make a difference as to which games reached the top 100.

I have to say I really like it as it is. If you put numbers by each game, people will just get upset and annoyed, no-one will be pleased if the list is ordered, we'll just have some extra pages of "X game should be here, not there". This list at the moment is very agreeable and lovely.

I voted Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 but judging by the full list it probably got merged with the original. I did love the original too but found it a bit limiting, the 2nd game didn't really change much so is probably the weakest of the series and then the 3rd one went 3D and I spent hundreds of hours playing it, and still do.
