I am so happy you didn't put any numbers in, that pretty much voids most traditional complaints as now we can pretty much order them however we like in our heads.

Wii sports is little more than a tech demo, besides, every Wii owner has it anyway.
In 10 years time nobody will remember half the games in that list, for better or for worse Wii Sports started a gaming revolution and that wont be forgotten.
That alone of course may not be enough to make it worthy of a place, but the sheer amount of joy that can be gotten from that 'tech demo' and the fact that at a party Wii Sports is about 10x more fun to play than almost everything else in that 100, probably should be.
How many people actually voted for it?
I know this is a list of peoples favorite games and it was always going to turn out like this, but come on; 3 Halos, 4 Resis, 4 Final Fantasys, 4 Metal Gears, 4 GTAs, 6 Marios, 6 Zeldas (I realize I voted for most of those, but still)
I guess I just don't think the list makes for very exciting reading
