Sir Cora and Ricardo stayed behind, not out of fear of meeting the assassins cold pistol, but to keep this mysterious stranger from causing anyone any harm.

Sir Cora lunged at Akonting Jim, grappling him into a headlock. Ricardo layed down the law, striking him in the face a few times. There was a girly scream.

Moments later Akonting Jim lay cowering, naked in the corner by his throne. Ricardo had stolen the mans armour which was made of a special material that was bulletproof. Sir Cora had escaped with the machine gun Akonting Jim had stashed behind his throne. All geared up, they chased after their friends.

The chase had brought them to a small set of spiraling stairs down into the darkness, down to the base of the castle. Irene led the way with his pistol at the ready, followed by Rufus who wanted blood. Far below they could hear the echoing steps of the killer, his italian shoes cracking against the cold stone.

They emerged into a small basement area full of barrels.

"The assassin must be hiding behind one of them." Dipak whispered. Behind them, Ricardo and Sir Cora came running with their new gear.

There was a sudden flash, a silent thud.

A barrel caught alight, a bullet skipped past Rufus.

The loot taken by Sir Cora and Ricardo has been added to your treasure list.

First of all, I suppose this chapter could be a little... controversial. I hope it does not offend or upset anyone.

The Final Chapter

The seven heroes found themselves alive again, each of them felt a faint ringing in their ears.
"What the hell was that?" Ricardo asked.
"The barrels must have been full of gunpowder" Irene grumbled, rubbing his head.

They looked up and realised the Castle Confrontation had been somewhat prophetic. The explosion in the basement, the collapsing of the inner castle...

All around them cars were moving, jamming the street. People lined the sidewalk. Policemen were patrolling, and above them loomed two giant towers.

They all knew what was about to happen.

Dipak rushed over to an old man and asked him the time and date.

"The time? Eight thirty five in the morning, the date... September 11." He quickly rushed off.

"Oh gooseberry fool" Drumstick sighed.

They had ten minutes until the first plane hit.

Rufus Roonie led the way into the lobby of the north tower but they stopped upon seeing a familiar figure.

It was the killer.

"Listen, I am not here to kill you this time." The assassin spoke. "This one scenario is one that affected me heavily... I was responsible for the collapse of both towers. This is one point in history that I want to change, and you will need my help. You may have heard the rumour of a bomb planted at the base of each of the towers... I was employed to plant the bombs. If we are to disarm it and save just the north tower, lives will be saved..."

"Why should we trust you?" Rufus growled, he felt himself reaching for the pistol still stored under his jacket.

"Because up until now you have tried to change things, alter history but this is something I WANT changed. Will you let me join you? I can show you where the bomb is, but I am worried about the special force team that will be watching over it. This is why I need you."

A- Let the assassin join your group, use him to find the bomb quickly.
B- Tell him to **** off and try to find the bomb yourselves.
C- Shoot him on the spot.
D- Ignore the bomb threat and try to evacuate the entire building in ten minutes.

I say A. We can kill him after he's helped us.

"We can't stop the planes at this point. I guess we'll have to trust you." Rufus said as he spat on the ground. "But I've got my eye on you."

"I don't trust you one bit Honky. We don't need your help and we can find those bombs without you."

"We'll have to stick with you as you know the joint." Irene said "But one wrong move and your as good as dead."

The team snuck into a restricted area in the north tower, the killer leading the way. The area was deserted and they walked through a personel doorway that apparently led to the basement of the huge tower. They began to run down the stairs, knowing the first plane would hit any minute.

"A short while after the first plane hits, the bomb will go off." The killer said, leading the way down. "This will destroy most of the foundation support which is why the tower collapsed."

They hit the bottom and entered a large room full of boxes and several huge support pillars. Attached to each support pillars were several bombs, flashing red.

The assassin turned around, walked through the heroes and locked the door.

"The swat teams are coming." The assassin growled, blood falling from his lips. Outside they could hear the drumming of their feet.

A- Shoot the assassin dead.
B- Hold your fire, he has his hand on the bomb.
C- Blow the bomb up.
D- Other, make up a plan.

Score one for Rufus.

I reckon we shoot him dead. If I had my hand on some girl's breasts and I got shot dead, I wouldn't be able to detonate the breasts before I died. With this logic, I deem the Assassin harmless at this point.

"MUTHAFUCKER YOUR TIME IS UP! YOU CAN LET GO OF THAT BOMB OR WE WILL TAKE THIS WHOLE BUILDING DOWN WITH US INSIDE."

He paused for a moment.

"If you really do want this stopped you'll let go of the bomb and we'll leave you to finish the defusing."

\If he really want the bomb defused then the mummy strawberry floater won't detonate the bombs. It doesnt make any sense for him to blow the things up dammit!
