I still think Uncharted 2 is better, but I really can see why people love it so much. There's just something... special about it.

I agree that it really needs a European release too, it's almost guaranteed to sell a decent amount on word of mouth alone.

I think my votes may change, and I still haven't done most of my list This year is sooo good

Those 3 Christmas games might work their way into my awards yet. As it stands though, gaming in 09 for me has consisted of Motorstorm online now and then, enjoying persona 4 but not getting very far with it (as it required so much time/effort I can't give anymore), replaying the best HP game in anticipation of the new film (god what a joy it was to play too ), being mesmerized by Flower, infuriated but captivated by Trials HD (that was made all the more special as it came out of nowhere for me)...for some reason being pulled back to my favourite street racer NFSU (I know ) and now Christmas has come like a grand finale, giving me my much needed GOTY feel with Uncharted 2. God it was a special Christmas present, it was like playing Tomb Raider 2 for the first time all those years ago, combined with feeling like you were playing an action/adventure film. Engrossing, strawberry floating amazing...I'd even go as far as to say it drew me into the action in more ways than any other game ever has.

EDIT: No way is Assassin's Creed 2 going into my list...oh wait...no actually it is! CODMW2 gets the MP award...haven't exactly clicked with the SP as yet but it's hardly had a chance (Was impressed by the vertical limit bit)
