You need to add a best games OST option to this. Seriously! If you did then it would be a hell of a toss up between Bastion and Skyrim for me.

Probably too late to add new categories now, but OST would be a good one for next year. I took soundtracks into consideration for my 'Best Audio' choice.

I can't say a great deal has interested me this year, not compared to 2010 anyway, but I still mean to get round to Skyward sword and Uncharted 3.

Is it really worth there being so many awards for this.

I mean do people really play enough strategy/import etc. games to warrant them having their own category

They're there just for sake of it, though. If you don't have anything to put in them then just put either N/A or remove them from your list. It's not that hard, Herbi. :P

I'll do mine in second.

It seems strange there is not a best writing or storytelling award, it's like saying that contributes nothing to the experience. Yet we have had some awesome contenders this year, like Portal 2, The Witcher 2 and Deus Ex HR. Also, Dragon Age 2 (for all it's failings, it had a very novel and innovative story. How often to you see a game following a three part tragedy in framed narrative?).

This is the same reason I don't take the VGAs seriously. They have an award for "biggest badass" but none for the best story. :fp:
