13 MONTHS IS MUCH TOO LONG! LETS FIND A NEW GURU!

OPENING CEREMONY -

EDITORIAL -

Image

Welcome to the worlds greatest online gaming-centric competition, the search for he or she who can be called a 'Games Guru', a special someone here on GR who has a passion, a know-how and a competitive edge like no other! Every year, a knockout competition appears from the depths of the forum to rise up into General Games Chat to find ourselves a brand new champion. This will be the second contest since we relocated from Gamesradar to its new spiritual home here on GRCade. The competition has been running since 2004, and this time we shall find our eighth champion, our eighth Games Guru. In a tough test last year - rookie JAY MYSTERIO took on all comers to become the newest champion and reigning GGGC Games Guru, so who - if anyone - will succeed him? Theres only one way to find out - this, ladies and gentlefolk - is GGGC VIII!

I hope you all enjoy watching and playing!

DML - Host of the GRCade Games Guru Competition

How does it work?

The competition (GGGCVIII) will take place over roughly three weeks. The task is made up or a number of differing tasks that test all areas of gaming passion, gamesmanship and knowledge. Each task tends to last somewhere between 2-3 days, with a live announcement on GR in this thread at the end of each task announcing the task results. At the end each task, the weakest players WILL be eliminated out of the contest - with those surviving progressing to the next challenge.

Any number of people can apply, but this year we will be selecting 18 - 22 players to play in the competition proper (about the same number as last year). This new group for 2010 become our ‘Superstars’ and will contest the rest of the competition, the simple aim to stay in right to the end.

At the end of the run, the final few shall compete in a LIVE GGGC Grand Final Task which is played out in real time LIVE on GRCade. The winner of this final task shall lift the title, and become the new GRCade Games Guru, and follow in a long prestigious line of previous winners.

GGGC 1 (2004) 11 Players – INVINCIBLE
GGGC2: Champions and Challengers (2004) 13 Players – INVINCIBLE
GGGC III: Road to the Super Bowl (2005) 15 Players - FALCON
GGGC IV: The Games Guru World Cup (2006) 32 Players – RAZE
GGGC V: Reality Bytes – (2007) 16 Players - CORAZON DE LEON
GGGC VI: The Gang Wars (2008) 15 Players - PARKSEY
GGGC VII: Get Into The Game (2009) 22 Players - JAY MYSTERIO
GGGC VIII (2010) 19 Players - DEVLIN

The competition always proves to be exciting, competitive and sometimes controversial, so if you want to be part of one of GR's largest and most prestigious events, than please apply!

Whats different this year?

To keep players on their toes, and so the contest does not become overfamiliar, every year (although the ultimate aim always remains the same - to survive the tasks) the format has always changed, and the contest often twists and turns in various ways - meaning not only are gamers being tested on their gaming sensibilities, but also on their tactical nature and their gamesmanship in general. This year will be no different, and the format will put more significant pressures on players then ever before...

Last time around in 'GGGC VII: Get Into The Game!'

The competition returned in 2009 with one of its strongest line-ups in years, with defending champion Parksey being joined by ex-champion Cora, ex-finalists Drumstick, Prototype and Dalagonash and returning after a long time in the wilderness Eighthours. The contest also had the long awaited debut of GRCade's Admin Garth - plus a lot of other exciting newcomers including games-shop owner Jay Mysterio, Streetfighter fan Lucien, ex-forum game runner supreme More Heat Than Light, and enthuiastic BID0. The contest also saw the arrival of two suprise contestants, The Turnip King and a real suprise as james@gamesradar.com aka 'Dr Buckles' joined the fray.

The tasks were all based on famous games, with 'Gunstar Heroes', 'Banjo Kazooie' and 'Day of The Tentacle' just some of the games that got tasks dedicated to them.

The contest was cut-throat from the start with regulars Prototype and Psychicsykes being thrown to the wolves in an early round, and it wasn't long before Parksey was dethroned, before the semi-final stage. The search for a new Guru was on when Cora fell at the same stage.

The contest saw some epic mishaps including answers involving Halo 3 and Bubsy - and an infamous moment when Tragic's seemingly definite progression for dressing up as Banjo on Youtube was denied by people forgetting to vote for him.

In the end it was two rookies and two stalwarts in the final as BID0, Drumstick, Dalagonash and Jay Mysterio vied for the title. However, it was out with old and in with the new, as the two newbies fought in a tense final head-to-head - but it was the world-class quickfire skills of Jay Mysterio that won the day, and the title of GGGC Games Guru 2009!

You can see last year's closing ceremony, and a fairly good summary of the contest here -

Also a round up of 'GGGC VI: The Gang Wars'....

After a round of selection, fifteen competitors were selected to be 2008’s superstars. They included previous Gurus Corazon De Leon and Raze (returning for the first time since his pulling out from his defence in 2007) stalwarts Rinks, Drumstick, Novastorm and Dalagonash, older names like Devlin and Parksey, and new faces in the likes of Behoimi, Satriales, Prototype and Kanbei.

For the first time, players were put into teams for the first three tasks, with the amount of spots being offered in the next round to each team dependant on results. Behoimi was offered the nerve-wracking choice of a automatic spot in the next round for a guaranteed points deduction for his team (which could screw other teammates chances of qualification) which he accepted on the basis his team were probably losing anyway. Dalagonash got knocked out early, Raze and Rinks put in honourable runs, we had everyone hailing ‘King Behoimi’ and of course the whole ‘Novak Endo’ scandal that never truly got solved!

After the first rounds, the competition looked very tight, and indeed it was so tight that they could not be separated for the Final, and for the first time five players made it. Corazon De Leon and Raze for their second attempt at the final, Prototype the shock contender, Parksey the most consistent player and the ever threatening Drumstick.

However in the Final, it was Parksey that ousted all comers in the DUEL round with the widest margin of win in any final, and the Ronald McDonald of GR became the first ever Mod winner of the competition!

The closing ceremony for that contest here -

LIST OF EVERY GGGC COMPETITOR EVER!

Behoimi (GGGC6 and 7)

Guy I used to work with in Gamestation. Ridiculously quick off the buzzer, and extremely knowledgable. Won ‘King of the Hill’ on his debut and also was offered a gut-churning twist in Season Six to accept a place in the latter stages of the contest in exchange for costing his team lots of points. That time he fell short, and after another ace showing last year where he started to look a favourite after winning the Twitch Gaming round, he fell to a quickfire quiz just before the final. Maybe the best guy never to have made a GGGC Final to date.

BID0 (GGGC7)

The shock runner-up of GGGC VII, 'Buddy Christ' made quite the impression on the contest, making many friends and straight away showing that he wasn't going to be one of the first out as predicted. Some mean quickfire skills proved his greatest asset, basically dragging his team along in Round Three. However, other than that one brush with elimination when his peers overwhelmingly voted for him to stay, he did more than enough to survive every time. In the final, he got to the heads-up in the 'pong showdown' with Jay Mysterio, but was eventually outclassed. A great guy.

Big Frank (GGGC2 and 4)

Flaked out at an early stage of both, and never really found his feet in either competition.

Captain Charisma (GGGC4)

Whipping boy of GGGC4, coming bottom of his group, and bottom of the entire set of 32 competitors that year.

Clarkman (GGGC5 and 6)

Surprise package of GGGC5, managing to reach the penultimate task and beat some good players. Finished sixth that time around, but on his return in the sixth contest struggled and crashed out much earlier.

Crimson Reaper/Fallen Phoenix (GGGC3 and 4)

Won ‘Do You Guru 2’ in 2005 and became top rookie in the contest. Came fourth, but had to pull out of the Grand Final, gifting the place to Rinks. Wasn’t so successful in 4.

Dalagonash (GGGC4, 5, 6 and 7)

Had a baptism of fire in GGGC4 suffering in an extremely tough group. However, proved to be one of the best competitors ever in GGGC IV, only just being pipped by !Deadpool! to the title. In Season Six he was the shock early exiter from the contest after his 'Experience' gang capitulated. Great all-rounder who came back in GGGC VII to reach his second final finishing fourth. He lacked the quickfire skills then, but hes always welcome to come and try again. One of GGGC's toughest ever cookies.

Dark Dragon 64 (GGGC5)

Qualified as a Wild Card in Season Five, but wasn’t really ready for the big game. Very young though, and will improve.

Dav2k/Dav (GGGC1, 2 and 4)

The original inspiration of the contest, and also a massive help behind the scenes providing much artwork and the like. Came third in the inaugural contest, and then was shockingly knocked out of the second at an early stage. Pulled out early out of the fourth. An all rounder with a great passion for games, but lacks a killer instinct.

!Deadpool!/Corazon De Leon/sntaa/Cora
(GGGC2, 4, 5, 6 and 7)

Now the guy with most GGGC showings, and a big GGGC veteran. Infamously made the massive ‘Kuru Kuru Kururin’ mistake as sntaa, and was callously rejected in the Apprentice task in GGGC4, but came storming to win last year. Was the most emphatic finalist ever until in Season Five grabbing the title of Games Guru. Managed to finish fifth in a tough final in 2008. 'Mr GGGC' himself now, he missed out on the final six last time after losing on a tie-break.

Deception (GGGC5)

Radio Radar regular, but he found the going tough in GGGC5, becoming a regular mid table runner. Would stand a better chance now with experience.

Devlin1983 (GGGC4 and 6)

Benefitted by the larger numbers in the fourth contest, but couldn’t make an impression and went out early. Made a surprise return in 08’ donning the Vega avatar, and did himself no dis-service.

Dodgy Dave/DPAD Dave (GGGC 1 and 5)

Was a member of the ‘Elite Four’ that terrified the very first contest, but just missed out on the final. A great writer and photoshopper, he managed that final berth last time out after a long time in the wilderness, but had to pull out of the live Final. Created ‘DPAD Magazine’ a successful online magazine, and sold it later on - and now works on other publications. A nicer guy you couldn’t meet on here.

Dominant Seventh (GGGC4)

Came out of nowhere from another website to surprise many at the Games Guru World Cup. Reached the last six, but was then eliminated just before the final. Very quiet and suppressed.

Dr Buckles (GGGC7)

Formerly 'james@gamesradar.com', the thought of the Admin actually showing up for a forum game was all a bit odd. But the newly rebranded 'Arcanine' Dr Buckles got that chance as a suprise contestant in Season 7. He went on to actually do really well, and better than his fellow contender TTK. He sadly went out due to a late submission in the writing round.

Drumstick (GGGC4, 5, 6 and 7)

Steady Eddie Drum switched to the Jolteon avatar last time after many years as a Voldo-wearer, A third in GGGC V, and a tied second with Raze in GGGC VI showed Drumstick had that ruthless edge thats required to win Guru titles. Last time out in Season Seven he once again showed his mettle doing enough to finish third for the second time in his third consecutive final. Strong in all areas and ALWAYS a contender. One of the greats.

Eighthours (GGGC 3,4 and 7)

Regardless of falling out in earlier years, Eighthours has always made a big impact on GGGC and I wanted to see him return. Initially introduced as a long time rival of Invincible in GGGC3, the two actually ended up being teamed together by a task, famously creating the convincing 'Snap DS!' which went on to be accidentally reported on many games websites A good writer, who was dumped by the Apprentice in GGGC4. His huge return was unexpected, but in ended in a whimper when he had to pull out.

Falcon (GGGC2, 3 and 4)

Falcon came onto the scene as a fresh faced gamer who captured many hearts, but in the third competition a new steel emerged and he became only the second ever Games Guru, denying Invincible his third title in the final. He fell out of love with GGGC after a disastrous defence of the title in GGGC4, but we’d welcome him back with open arms.

Foolish Mortal (GGGC1, 2 and 4)

One of the eleven who braved the first competition. He became known as a survivor after three times surviving a final showdown before finally being eliminated in eighth. You wonder if he could have that little extra bit to make the difference. Was also a victim of the GGGC2 Mole.

Gamesmasta (GGGC4)

Has been a bit of a GGGC qualification regular, but has made one appearance at the finals. Passionate about his footy, but has yet to prove hes a real gamer.

Garth (GGGC7)

The guy is the head honcho of the new GR and the guy I had wanted for ages to show for GGGC. He eventually did, but then didn't submit. I'm sure we'll see Garth in a full showing sometime.

Herbi (GGGC4 and 5)

Relentlessly opinionated, but driven as well, Herbi is a forum game regular, and knows how to play the game. Has lacked the knowhow to unlock this particular game, but may well do it soon. Herbi’s no f***ing Alpha in this game yet.

Hero Of Canton (GGGC3 and 4)

Widely regarded as the best writer who have been in the competition, HOC made a big impact as a newbie in the third contest. However, he always loses out on creative or knowledge rounds. Now works for a number of magazines.

HSH23 (GGGC4)

Often ridiculed for his strong ‘android’ like opinions on GR, but put on a efficient machine like display in his only outing in GGGCIV, only to be eliminated by the skin of his teeth. A return beckons?

Invincible (GGGC1, 2, 3 and 5)

When you think Games Guru, you think Invincible and rightly so. Games Guru twice running – love him or hate him, he cuts the cocky poker player persona when at this table. Has been at the middle of some of GGGCs most controversial moments, and stormed out last time after being caught cheating. However, only Falcon prevented him from becoming ‘Forever Guru’. Nintendophile to the end, and endlessly knowledgeable.

JamieJ/Jim
(GGGC3 and 4)

Was thrown in a surprise contestant alongside Eighthours in the third contest, a contest that was full of quality. JamieJ failed to swim despite his enthusiasm and came last. He tried again in GGGC4 but is yet to make that real impact.

Jay Mysterio (GGGC7)

Coming in as an unknown quantity, Jay lept of the page as an exciting auditionee. Despite spelling his name wrong in the opening ceremony, Jay went on to make sure no-one forgot it again! Friend of Prototype, and game shop owner when he won, Jay won one round, and had some of the sickest quickfire skills I have seen full stop. Surviving a tie-breaker in the final eight, Jay made his way to the final in impressive fashion, before breezing away with the seventh title. Our current Games Guru is the strongest quickfire guy we have had, and it'll be fascinating to see him take on newcomers!

Jazzem (GGGC7)

The Rocket Knight avatared gamer was another no show in the seventh contest, although there's no sign he won't be back!

Jeebus (GGGC2)

With Jeebus, you kinda just had to ‘be there’. A confusing, brilliant Belgian is most remembered on GR for his quite frankly mental musings, but here in the Halls he’s remembered as a fierce competitor and the best creative writer ever. Jeebus was the new guy who nearly had it all, but eventually finished third in a tense final. Will we see Johnny Foreigner again?

Jigglywiggly (GGGC5)

Debutant last year, but soon realised how serious a business GGGC ‘can’ get. Was sadly knocked out for non-submittal, but enough fire was shown in the belly to show that Jiggers may return some time. Was a Radio Radar regular.

Kanbei (GGGC6)

FIFA mad Kanbei has yet to make his big impression on GGGC, having struggled last year to compete in a tough group of players last year. Has much potential to improve though!

Lavonkey (GGGC4)

Mate of Dalagonash who sneaked through qualification, but ultimately sunk in the group stages. Sported the Sephiroth avatar, but is yet to striker fear in the competitors here.

Lucien (GGGC7)

Fan of Streetfighter, Lucien had one of the stronger showings of a rookie in early rounds in recent times, nearly winning the early twitch gaming round. However, in the Gunstar Heroes task, his team lost out unfortunately, and it was hard to say he deserved to stay once it reached that conclusion. Showed real quality, and is good where other strong candidates are not. I'd like to see him have another crack.

Madness (GGGC4)

One of a number of competitors who took advantage of increased numbers in the fourth contest. Didn’t really make an impression though.

Mad Dwarfer (GGGC1 and 4)

Mad Dwarfer was one of the inaugural contestants, and held his own for a few rounds, before becoming the first contestant ever to be eliminated for non-submittal. He made a huge comeback in GGGC4 a renewed man, and survived some of the toughest tasks yet, and eventually came fourth!

Mailman (GGGC1)

This guy had everything. Good at writing, had a competitive edge, in fact, him and Invincible looked inseperable. However, he was just pipped in the final by Vince and hasn’t returned since. Not many have ‘delivered’ like him if you excuse the pun…

Mazzacre (GGGC3)

Twin brother of previous Guru Falcon, Mazzacre made a big impression on the third contest, and won a task or two. However, in the end he was eliminated in the ‘Coliseum’ task after nearly taking out Invincible. His brother would finish the job later. Finished sixth.

Memento Mori
(GGGC7)

A bit of a forum game stalwart, but the Boo-man was edged out in a first round elimination last time out.

More Heat Than Light
(GGGC7)

The guy who massively inspired me to get into making forum games, it was a massive honour to get him to be a GGGC contender. Middle of the road generally, and was unlucky when his Green Team was elimianted in the team task. A fearsome gamer and Gamerscore guy, I feel he could translate that into a mean GGGC streak in years to come.

Nogbad the Bad/Omo (GGGC2, 4 and 5)

Omo cut a excited figure in the second contest as a young’n and he coped well despite a relatively early exit. However a wiser head returned in GGGC4, and perhaps a more ruthless streak got him into the final. Bad luck struck as internet connection problems ended his chances. Last time out he entered late as the top qualifier and ‘The King’, but he was dethroned and chucked out of the competition by his furious compadres. Nogbad was upset by this, and could well return. An exciting figure.

Novastorm
(GGGC5 and 6)

Tried to qualify for GGGC4, but was knocked out of contention by RLLMUKer Wiper. He came back strong to try again, and his first contest got him to a Grand Final. He didn’t make the final in 2008 and didn't enter in 2009, but is a good all-rounder and good friend.

Parkreiner/Thanatos (GGGC1 and 4)

Thanny was a big gun back in the day on GR, but was the first contestant ever to be eliminated from GGGC in the first ever task. Parkreiner didn’t fare much better in a Group of Death on PSO.

Parksey (GGGC4, 6 and 7)

Gamesradar Mod, and part-time gamer who came good last year to be a fantastic winner and reigning Games Guru. His first offering in GGGC IV proved to be a wishy washy debut, but last year he showed strength in all areas, and it was ultimately his consistency that won him the title. A fearsome competitor on his day, he was found out last year by his inability to write serious reviews. Eloquent and talented though, Mod Parksey may not have made two finals, but he is an esteemed member of this little ridiculous gathering!

Pell (GGGC3 and 4)

The clever cosplayer was a solid addition in the third series, and proved hard to beat on many rounds, especially based on writing. Became a good friend for Raze, secured seventh and now writes for Future Publishing.

Plasticcoated (GGGC2, 3, 4 and 5)

One of our most serial contestants, Plasticcoated exploded onto the scene by just missing out on the final in GGGC2. His all round game saw him installed as favourite in GGGC3, but three times he’s pulled out in a row. Its hard to see him becoming more reliable.

PsychoPriest (GGGC5)

The Beaker Twin coped well in the early stages, but once the heat was turned up was easily separated from Beaker compadre Clarkman. Has plenty to prove, and is always good around the thread.

Prototype (GGGC6 and 7)

GRCades affable Scot was a shock finalist in GGGC VI, but played the game fantastically, especially the creative rounds one of which he won. A bit cheeky, and always up for a laugh, he finished fourth in his first GGGC. In his return showing, he was eliminated in an early second round exit in the gaming round on Color Wars. In the end, it turned out he was edged out by his buddy and co-worker Jay, who went on to win the title.

PsychicSykes
(GGGC5, 6 and 7)

Super Sonic Sykes never really got massively going, but never really got the run of the green in GGGC5, but made a much more steady impression on the second contest, while never really threatening to be in the final. In the seventh contest fell out with the 'Color Wars' round famously - as the gamer who doesn't like to game! A regular and stalwart of modern day GGGC!

Raze/Orochimaru
(GGGC3, 4, briefly 5 and then 6)

Never has a guy looked more like a contender than Raze when entering a Games Guru contest. Knowedable and passionate, Raze had a killer instinct that saw him quite a few rounds. He gave Vince a run for his money in the GGGC3 Grand Final in the epic Blockbusters round. Many suspect that’s why Vince lost to Falcon in the final. After a troubled GGGC4, Raze picked up the title, and the ‘Black Panther’ became a legend. Gave up his title, before a spirited return last year saw him finish second in his third GGGC Grand Final.

Rinks
(GGGC2, 3, 4 and 6)

GGGC’s most consistent contestant of the early years, Rinks is the mature gamer with the hankering for a challenge, and they don’t get much tougher than here. Became runner up in both GGGC2 and GGGC4, and came third in GGGC3. Struck a great rivalry with Raze which saw arguably the greatest face off ever in the fourth contest. Outspoken about the contest, only he’ll know if there’s more fight in him. Last year did not make the final, so who knows. But I bloody love the bastard!

_r0sSc0_ (GGGC2)

Once a big name on old GR, Rossco with his Santa outfit was at the centre of one of GGGC's most contraversial moments. In the first round, he was successfully ousted unfairly by the 'GGGC Mole' instead of Tnman. Rossco has finished a writing task in fifth, but was sent for an elimnation vote, and was dulely eliminated by his fellow contestants, a knockback he never recovered from to return to the contest.

Satriales (GGGC6)

Better known for his poker exploits now, he made a low key appearance 15 months ago in GGGC VI, and struggled to make much of a major impact. Could return.

Seven
(GGGC7)

As Seven is deaf, GGGCVII was the first not to include a music round. Seven the Sonic fan is fun loving and loves games, but went out in the first writing round in a struggle in the seventh contest.

Sizzle Steel (GGGC2)

Otherwise known as the ‘GGGC Mole’, he was a friend who worked for me to try get contestants eliminated. He managed to get fellow competitors to vote off Foolish Mortal over tnman unfairly in the first round, before succumbing early in the third round weakly.

Slayerx
(GGGC4)

Never really got into the swing of things and was eliminated in the first round.

Smurphy (GGGC5)

Made his debut in the fifth contest, but ‘The Rooster’ struggled with the early pace and was eliminated at the first possible opportunity. Needs a bit more edge to return.

Starfox (GGGC1)

Became an early casualty of the first contest after failing to revamp the Sonic series. Sega have failed themselves since!

Staying Dead (GGGC6)

Better known as 'StayJap' now - he was a wildcard qualifier for GGGC VI and really struggled becoming the bottom feeder of the competition and was eliminated with the fewest points.

Suzz

Was a no-show in GGGC7, due to his internet breaking last minute, something he was clearly devestated about. The guy is one of the most exciting rookies there is. I have a feeling when he comes to GGGC full time... the Sony fan will be here to win....

The Mighty Goat/Zenigame (GGGC5 and 7)

Cheered everyone up in the fifth contest, and although he doubted his ability showed that he knew a fair bit as well. Although he joked his way to elimination in the first showing, his second time was much more steely. Although he jokingly became more well known for his moaning than his gaming, Zeni showed real determination, especially when he had to play in the 'Color Wars' round - when he is in fact colour blind! Its to his credit that he made it through. Elimianted in the final six.

The Other One (GGGC1)

Arrogant loser who didn’t have many fans on GR. Came into the first contest, and was dispatched in ninth by Foolish Mortal in a head to head.

The Shadow (GGGC5)

Long time lover of GGGC, but could never EVER qualify. He got his break in the fifth contest, but he lacked the all round game to make the final stages.

The Turnip King
(GGGC7)

One of the suprise entrants along with Dr Buckles, TTK has been one of those guys who I had wanted for ages, a real ambassador of the General Games Chat area. Although he didn't sink, TTK didn't exactly swim, and went out before Buckles with a non-submittal in Round 2.

Tiarny (GGGC3 and 4)

Lovable contestant who wrote brilliant stuff, but was normally out-knowledged overall. Provided a great music round in 2007 and is one of the most loved GGGC Superstars and GR Forumites.

Tnman (GGGC1, 2 and 3)

One of GGGC’s favourite sons, there’s few more determined than the GR Mod. A student journalist, tnman saw the contest as the perfect outlet to show off some of his abilities, and in the past has got frustrated at his inability to stay in. Came fifth in the first contest, and is always good value. Can he find the love again, and make a comeback?

Toxic (GGGC1, 2, 3 and 4)

Highly critical of GGGC in recent years, but was a big name back when it all began. Caused the biggest barney of all time by being introduced late as a surprise contestant in GGGC1, and made an impression in every contest since. A mid-packer generally, who HATED the Polls Of Doom.

Tragic (GGGC7)

In one of the most memorable debuts in recent seasons, Tragic absolutely stormed in early on, his lost years as a gamer clearly not lost on the contest! He debuted with a win in the first writing round, and continued place in the top four. However, he became unstuck in famous style during the Banjo round when he dressed up as the Rare Bear in embarassing fashion, capturing the attention of the whole forum. However, in a Bart-esque moment of destruction, no-one rememebred to vote, and Tragic ended in a play-off situation which he duly lost, one of the biggest shocks in GGGC history. He'll be back though!

Wasson (GGGC3)

Manchester United fan, and a new face in GGGC3, Wasson showed he had the determination to make it, but just failed to pip Rinks out of the contest and faced ‘Endgame’ instead. Hasn’t been seen since.

Winckle (GGGC7)

He'll fix your Windows, but he didn't show much in a bad showing in his first contest in Season 7.

Wiper (GGGC4)

RLLMUK forum member who came and made many of the GR contingent look silly on PSO. A great writer and good knowledge took him to the final, and he eventually finished third before bowing out for Rinks and Raze to do battle!

Maybe one, and as long as you have some kind of paint program you'll be fine.

I don't have time for this, this year  Maybe next year.

Good luck to anyone who enters. You need to knock Jay out before you get to the quickfire rounds, or you may as well hand him the trophy*

*no actual trophy.

Jay Mysterio (GGGC7)

Coming in as an unknown quantity, Jay lept of the page as an exciting auditionee. Despite spelling his name wrong in the opening ceremony, Jay went on to make sure no-one forgot it again!

I'd like to point out that I didn't spell my own name wrong, that was DML innit

Would love to enter again but sadly life is far too busy for me to have the time.

Good luck with it though DML. Give em hell.

He did? You think you know someone...

Do I have to audition or do I get instant entry?

As reigning champion you are guarenteed your spot, but still PM me just so I remember to get the numbers correct. BID0 as number two would also automatically qualify, but hes unavailable. All others must audition - and a maximum of eleven old faces can enter, so we will definitely see some new guys involved.

Quite a few applications. Admittedly they are all from Zenigame, but its the thought that counts.

Will fill out the application soon, I promise! Hope I make it in again.

Think Ray will win for the 2nd time. Unless rinks enters...
