Just watched the end video. Very good.

'Heh! Man, what a scene!'

Actually, that's something I was going to bring up...

This fella in my finalist sig above - I have no clue where that picture comes from. I've never even seen it before GGGCX!

This is Ray Smuckles, the character I said to DML to be my 'avatar' for the competition:

I can only assume that the picture in the sig is fanart. But I've grown to love it, especially seeing as it looks so very close to :datass:

I was going to bring it up earlier - but I didn't want to seem ungrateful.

EDIT: found it, it's a deviantart drawing by some guy called Kory Bing.

Yeah, sorry about that - I was trying to found something that fitted in better with all the other artwork, that that I wanted to desmuckle the Smuckles!

No worries - he probably wasn't the easiest character to work with.

Lucky I went out when I did, given that I was hit with my practically annual hospital stay shortly after, and if I had tried to drop out given the time of it DML had already had this competition, he'd probably have found out which hospital and popped around to finish the job. I look forward to catching up on the exciting finale when I'm somewhere with better internet capabilities.

For the competition as a whole, I'm a new face I know and hardly a memorable one, but it was a pleasure competing with you chaps, and always marvellous how much work DML put into these things. A bloody pleasure every time I took part.

RIP in peace, GGGC. So many memories (and controversies!) over the years.

When you want this thread archived, DML, give me a shout.

Can we have someone consign this to The Archive please - so I can stop being sad about it?

Consigned to archive for awesomeness.
