Haven't tried the golf yet but Unicorn Attack and Solipskier are amazingly addictive. It's so easy to just have one more go, so hard to stop.

So glad my internet is working properly again now else I probably wouldn't have been able to take part in this task. Phew!

Man, these are all terrible.

My success in the first round will be ruined by these :fp: I can see the unskippable "cutscenes" in that golf one getting really annoying in the quest for high scores, too :x

Wish it wasn't work tomorrow. I usually go to bed at about 3am on a weekend night so if it wasn't Monday tomorrow, I would literally play these games for about 5 hours without stoppage. Stupid work!

I've something to do now while RAW embraces the hate.

Am I the only one who'd never played any of these before?

Is the score on Solipskier meant to launch into the millions so quickly?

I think so. It seems impossible to get game over on it if you play it safe :|

Had another go at Wonderputt.

Managed to do three times worse.

[Edit] Third go went much better.

Just about to give these a go now. I have work tonight, tomorrow and Tuesday though, so I am hoping to rack up a decent score on all three very quickly.

I actually didn't mind Colour Wars and found it quite addictive.

It's a shame that it would either be too costly, or a logistical nightmare to get all contestants on LIVE or PSN over a couple of evenings and have a gaming heptathlon across a number of different titles and genres. XBLA and the like would make it easy for everyone to acquire the games quickly, but it would still be a tricky thing to pull off.

Nope, I've never even heard of them.

The Mrs has gone round her parents for dinner now so time to get some serious play time in on these magnificent games.

Magnificent?!

Oh, how far "Britain's Worst Teenager" has fallen. You used to be cool, man. Okay, you were actually the opposite of cool, but you were so anti-cool it became cool, man.

EDIT - Just out of interest, with Wonderputt, do you have to play each 18 hole round at once each time or can you replay individual holes? I have just done the first two holes and got a decent score, but I am at work in an hour...

Actually Wonderputt and the Skiing one are pretty good. Will need to play them properly when I get in.

I get really frustrated at crazy golf, and Wonderputt has that horrible element where you have a few good shots, then end up back at the start for some reason...

These games are actually awesome.

And Parksey, I may not be cool but there's definitely something about me that's just.... ooh yeah, undeniable baby.

Getting consistent scores now on The Prancing Pony which is good as I now have a reference of what is gooseberry fool, good or brilliant. Whether my "brilliant" is your "gooseberry fool", I won't know til results day however.

I'd always imagined a round where say, the top 12 all get to challenge one of the bottom 12 at a game of their choosing.

The Prodigy goes well with this unicorn. 8-)

I really wish I had Excel. If I had Excel, I'd be recording all my scores and making graphs and charts out of them to keep a record of my progress. And I'd study it in detail. I strawberry floating love stats.

Ah nevermind, I'll get to play stats and KPIs tomorrow at work. Which is funny really, I do all the departments stats and I'm really only a shop floor level guy. So even though I'm not management or anything, I still get to see all the in depth data on how the office is performing, from individual performance to how much each employee is costing the company.

Little interesting tid bit for you there.
