Does the music cut out in Solipskiier for you?

I'm not listening to it. Got my earphones in. I'm proper zen right now.

Dunno why you'd be listening to that.

Anyway, can I confirm with the putting game; is it the score, or your par that we're being scored on? Like, in my first full 18 I scored a full nine under par better than my second, but my second score was much higher due to collecting the rainbow things.

It's the number under par. The rainbow things can be ignored.

strawberry float, I could easily play this til the early hours of the morning but I need to start getting ready for work tomorrow. Played for almost 4 hours straight earlier and at the time I was effing well pleased with my scores. Now I'm just thinking I need, need to carry on playing. I know I can definitely improve my scores. I can definitely double my unicorn score if I get three very solid rounds instead of 2 good, 1 weak. Oh God, I can't bear to not play. I can't bear it. All this time I could be spending trying to win and instead I have to go to work then come home and do noob things like cook dinner and spend time with the Mrs. While all you guys are just pwning it up to the point my own scores become a pile of crap and then I come bottom of the pile. Woe is me. :(

Be assured, you're not going to come bottom.

Yep, the competition for that position is pretty fierce.

Thank God. Good thing I got 18 holes in one in my first shot earlier. :shifty:

Its an interesting task in the fact that how hard do you push? For those near who know they are at the bottom - they know they must do well to be in with a shot come Task Three. The ones at the top might know that they could get away with a bad task - and everyone else can have anything between 4 and 19pts - which makes a HUGE difference to their prospects!

I've pushed myself so much today that when I read this thread, the letters look like they are scrolling across the screen.

And I'm not even strawberry floating joking!

If I don't place in the top 5 now...

I'm going to push this one quite hard. I figure another Top 5 for me would all but seal it regardless of Task 3. If we get another two people there again, I think that's going to be 1st or 2nd.

FFS. Was hoping the flash game round wasn't going to make an appearance until I was back home with a proper internet connection. Haven't tried the games at the moment but have a feeling this shitty dongle-internet thing is going to struggle considering it'll often take minutes at a time to simply load up pages on this forum - and that's with images disabled  :fp: .

I think my scores here are going to be pretty polarised.

One man should not have this much power in this game. Luckily I'm not an ordinary man.

Right, I've got what I think is a belting score on the minigolf game. I'll be reasonably surprised if it wins, but I'm quite happy with it.

Managed to have a go on the Ski game. After about 3 minutes it all started to lag and become unplayable. Couldn't even get the other two games to load. :fp:

Might have to try and find a public library or somewhere with good wifi.

I'm pretty happy with my Ski and my Putt scores now. Still need to work on my Unicorn score, however.

I'm really gooseberry fool at the ski game. Like, incredibly bad.
