This all sounds like excuses from losers who don't want to win the Battle Royale. You should each look inwardly and ask yourself if you have what it takes to make the sacrifices required be this year's champion.

Anyway, I've had the heating on from earlier in the week, been 1C in the mornings as the other half secretly bought a Hive in the spring and can remotely control the heating from her phone. I'm surprised I lasted this long.

I am out. I have had to help my brother out and dog sit, so I can't let the strawberry floaters freeze.

(Un)Luckily we only have a single storage heater for the whole house and so you have to charge it the day before.
This "well it won't help us now" mentality is keeping me in.

I'm still battling on! Heating doesn't go on until November. It's THE RULES.

I guess I'm out 'cos I have turned on my electric heater a couple of times. Still haven't turned on the overnight (Economy 7) main heater in my living room, though.

And it's bloomin' cold :dread:

The OP clearly states "The premise is simple, be the last person to put your heating on.
This will rely on honesty, so post in the thread once you've put your heating on"

As it's not my heating and none of us put it on, I am assuming I am still in. But it might require a ruling from the court of GR.

If it was up to me I would say you are still in.

I don't recall so many early exits last year compared with this year, so I won't be making a determined effort to avoid turning the heating on.

IMO if you're staying somewhere else and you have control over the heating in that space then if it comes on you are out :capnscotty:
