I'm still in, but unsure if it's fair, having a different climate and all that (Chicago).

This high-rise traps heat really well, and the south facing widows create a greenhouse effect. Much drier here too, so no damp. It will drop to -10s before the year is out though so we'll see.

People in the US should be disqualified. The firing of all of those guns counts as heating.

I'm turning my heater on every now and again... it's nice but, man, I don't like looking at the energy smart meter. And I've recently discovered that it can show cost usage each day, too :dread:

I'm out. I wasn't here for 2 weeks and my flat turned into an icebox. It was freezing in here so heating going on to save myself from damp.

Officially out now. The weather has dropped quite a bit recently and then out of nowhere we had snow overnight so the family insisted on the heating going on this morning!

It's really rare for Exeter to get snow so early in winter. Going to be a rough few months

Annnnd I’m out. Heating went on Saturday morning when it dropped to about 4.

I like how pro league we have become in the battle royale. With technicalities like the heating system itself going into self preservation mode being the only way people tap out.

Perhaps that might have to be allowed before someone messes up their pipework
