Good because your beard is getting a bit out of hand now, mate.

Like strawberry float am I shaving it off. It's just for keeping the cheeks and neck tidy which is a pain in the arse to do with a normal razor.

I've been given some Lush shaving cream which is nice. Only thing I don't like about it is (a) I tend to actually cut myself more because it's not transparent (b) it blocks my triple blade, which is really annoying. I use an old mach 3 and a strawberry float tonne of blades I bought years ago but might need a new bunch. Usually King of Shaves which is flawless.

I'm after a new styling product for my hair, I have short hair back and sides with it longer on top which I like to mess up. I currently use L'Oreal Xtreme hold indestructible gel-glue which is ok as it doesn't come out easy if it rains or I put my hood up.

The only problem I have with it is that it doesn't seem to hold my hair in the style I want it, my hair grows outwards so I try to flatten the sides and back and just mess up the front but it all seems to all stick out and won't stay.

I'm thinking either a putty or wax would be better, can anyone recommend a good product that will hold my style and last? Is putty better than gel-glue?

Do any of GRcade's more senior gents use any sort of eyecream?

The baby is robbing me of my beauty sleep and believe me, I need every minute I can get. Wedding at the end of May so I really need to not look totally rough by then.

Looking for something that'll help prevent (or just mask) crow's feet and bags.

Any suggestions welcome.

Just shaved my beard of 5 months off, I don't know who I am anymore ._. Getting grown straight back.

I'm trying this no shampoo thing, anybody got any tips to get rid of product in your hair without it? Simply washing it with water isn't helping

I'm not an expert but I don't think the no shampoo thing works if you put product in your hair? I think it relies on your hair attaining its "natural state" or whatever. Also, not to discourage you ( ;) ), but a friend of mine did this and it took, like, three months for him not to look like a greasy wreck of a man.

Just ordered a 5ml sample of this off eBay for £10. I have heard so many amazing reviews. Anyone tried this before?

Well my first experience of Bulldog isn't a particularly good one. Thought I'd try their shower gel...it smells like toilet cleaner! Like Domestos Pine or something. :datass:

Of all the brands I've used (Dove Men, Original Source, Nivea Men or the newly launched L'Oreal Men) Bulldog is the worst one by a country milk. I'd even put it below Lynx because while that's hideously overpowering at least it smells nice.

I presume their other stuff is really good but this one is crap.

Anyone else here use clippers to shave their (balding) heads that could recommend a decent set? I've had a BabyLiss set for a couple of years but the number 1 guard has snapped so doesn't sit snuggly over the teeth anymore, resulting in an imperfect finish (unless I spend aaaages going over areas, which is a pain and ends up hurting my bonce).

Probably best place to ask - but what smell do you all wear?

I've just finished Clear Water and think I fancy a change - but I'm not sure what.

I want something sensual, manly and inviting :P

Seems to pop up on eBay for 60 quid for 50ml, buyer beware.

It was what I'd describe as manly though, it was a mixture of zest, mint and a warm musk.

Made me look at some other stuff, nothing to blow your head off but I found my old (and only) scent, Equity by Yardley (what is these awful names) in the bathroom. Almost totally empty. Might pick up a few sachets on ebay and fill it with a pipette, it's nice but not overpowering, it seemed to go well with a jacket and hitting slightly above your weight, not sure how else to describe it.

This site might be useful, it lists the fragrance notes and you can get an idea of price from what people recommend. Givenchy http://www.basenotes.net/ID26124468.html

Seems to be a few nutters who collect samples on ebay, good way to try something without spending mental amounts of money.
