Inspired by the derailing of the Things That Annoy you thread, use this thread to discuss your grooming preferences.

What do you use? When?
Anything you'd recommend? Anything you'd avoid?
What do the people you're trying to attract love?
Any personal grooming horror stories?

Or, feel free to ask for advice. Are you still using Lynx? Do you repel the opposite sex (or the same sex - basically whoever you're trying to bone)? Are you mystified about the fact that your head hair is thinning while your nasal hair grows out of control?

Fire away below.

To get things started, I use the following:

Shaving:
King of Shaves Gel
Gillette Fusion Power

Face:
L'oreal men expert Charcoal Face Wash

Shower gel:
Whatever's cheap

Hair:
Head and Shoulders
Trevor Sorbie Clay

Deodorant:
Neutral antiperspirant deodorant; whatever's on cheap but usually Nivea/Sure/L'Oreal etc

Smells:
Currently Hugo Boss and CK Crave. The latter comes in a very portable/rugged plastic bottle so is ideal for carting around with me.

Moisturiser:
L'Oreal Men Expert Hydra Energetic.

Teeth:
Oral B electric brush
Whatever sensitive/whitening past is on cheap
Listerine total care

Shaving? Moisturiser? I'm obviously not in a man thread.

I believe in taking care of myself and a balanced diet and rigorous exercise routine. In the morning if my face is a little puffy I'll put on an ice pack while doing stomach crunches. I can do 1000 now. After I remove the ice pack I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower I use a water activated gel cleanser, then a honey almond body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub. Then I apply an herb-mint facial mask which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an after shave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion.

Shaving: Gillette Fusion Hydra Gel Sensitive, Gillette Fusion ProGlide Power
Face: Whatever is on offer from Dove, L'Oreal or Nivea.
Hair: Head and Shoulders (though the cost of this is just getting ridiculous now)
Deodorant: Currently Sure Men Lotus F1 Team, though it can be any from Sure/Dove/L'Oreal/Nivea.
Shower gel Will try anything at least once. Sometimes you'll stumble upon something like Sainsbury's Mint Body Wash which will turn out to be near enough identical to Original Source or Radox. Only one I completely avoid is Adidas, which for some reason brings me out in a rash, so they must be putting something in it my skin doesn't like.
Teeth: Oral B electric (2nd from top); not bothered but usually Colgate as its never not on offer; mouthwash is again either Colgate, Listerine or Oral B. Occasionally that one you have to shake about.

Don't bother with moisturiser or bottled fragrance.

Do you like Phil Collins? I've been a big Genesis fan ever since the release of their 1980 album, Duke.

I do like that album, yes. Before that, I really didn't understand any of their work. Too artsy, too intellectual. It was on Duke where Phil Collins' presence became more apparent. I think Invisible Touch was the group's undisputed masterpiece. It's an epic meditation on intangibility. At the same time, it deepens and enriches the meaning of the preceding three albums.
