Split screen gaming exists on PC & http://pcsupremacy.co.uk/?p=mumble

Did you know for my PC, I have two cables, one is a power cable, and the other is the HDMI cable. And that's it. Just like a console.

Bet you didn't know that. It's just small things like these that you ignore and then come out with the ridiculous conclusions about the PCs taking so long to load. You know what? I'd rather have the slightly longer boot time on my pc, than have do with the load times that consoles have.

My keyboard and mouse is wireless, so is my game pad. I sit in my bed, I sit on my chair, I sit on the couch, I sit wherever I like. Just because you have a PC doesn't mean you have to be so stupid and stay glued to your chair, or have to have it connected to a monitor. That's your failing, not the PCs problem.

Carlos, you've ignored every single fact about PC gaming and pulled out a conclusion from your anus, based on misconceptions in your head.

$ilva $hadow wrote:Wow, another Rik pro360 thread.

The funniest thing is that the number 1 objective machine, the PC, isn't allowed to be at top spot....but it can be allowed in the mix as long as it isn't high up on the list

If Rik wants to talk about accomplishments...well steam brought PC gaming back to the forefront after almost every big developer had jumped gooseberry fool to consoles, and not only that, but the PC platform now has developers eating their own words as they try to make their way back to the PC. Every big development in consumer rights and gamers rights is being decided on the PC, and then filtered down to the consoles.

I'll explain because you seemed to have not understood, it isn't my list

O I know it's not your list, only someone so thick would believe that anyone thinks you wrote that. It's funny that you're the one throwing out those 'reasons' on why the PC shouldn't be allowed on the top, but you have no problem with it being in a list if it's not at the top

PC Gaming is expensive when you don't know what you're doing. And I don't know what I'm doing.

Everything I start tampering with goes wrong & breaks. Plus I use mobile devices like laptops anyway, & there's minimal customisation available even if I wanted to.

But I would reckon you are the exception rather than the rule. My assessment of console vs PC gaming is based on my own experiences of friends' homes. In all of them the PC is either in a study/spare room or a Laptop and the games console/s are the ones under the TV.

Obviously PCs can be plugged into a TV but how many bother?

I didn't even vote, the list is the results, the PC came where it came, I had no input at all

Whose fault is that though?

If I give you all the right tools, but you refuse to learn and use them, whose fault is that? Can you actually justify blaming your tools, or your own ignorance? Honestly I'm not being rude, I know you'll take it that way, but be honest and objective, is it because of your misconceptions and ignorance that you can't use the PC, or is it that much more difficult to use a pc? My 8 year old neighbour can use a laptop and boot up games and the internet, if you would like a standard to gauge yourself against. Also she can install games from the internet too.

And rik, please, get over yourself, no one said you voted in it either. This is just sad, stop being a baiting trolling attention whore just to make yourself look like a victim.

No, if you look back you'll see what was mentioned in regards to you. And it wasn't about you voting on the list or having anything to do with it at all.

I think a lot of people with newer laptops probably plug it into the TV these days, as it's so easy to do so; it's one HDMI cable. Negates the need to buy a stand-alone Blu Ray player, certainly.

Really glad I don't patronise the strawberry float out of my computing students like Silva does. Don't think I'd be working in a college ever again

Not everyone has the same knowledge or interest. Not really fair to bash them for it.

O come on, you're reading that tone into it, if you heard me say it on mumble, there woudn't be any bumpain. It's just when people are confronted with the possibility they may be wrong, their natural reaction is not to actually think, but to get defensive. Which is what happens here. A lot.

Because you're in the thread, talking nonsense, being part of the debate, big headed much

Yeah I know silva but it does come across a bit darned harsh sometimes.

I reckon just let folk be ignorant, if that's what it is to you.

You don't get it Fishy, It's your own ignorance mate

The thought has never crossed his mind that other people think differently, he really believes everyone thinks the same way as he does.

Remember that. it's you ;)
