I think I'll just wait until September, not that i don't want to find out, its just like when people run away from cars trying to run them down, I'll avoid the pain for as long as possible.

Just back from results. I got 7B's 3D's and a D.

B's in Maths, music, french, science, science applied, food tech and english.
C's in English lit, citizenship and RE
D in Humanities.

All in all i'm pleased, expected a D in science and a B in humanities but i'd prefer a B in science than humanities so im glad.

1 A*, 6 As, 2 Bs and a C.

Pretty gutted to be honest, a few of those As should have been A*s.

But, onwards and upwards.

Being gutted about achieving only A as opposed to A* is pretty :fp:

Not when I was predicted and expected to get the top grade in a few of those subjects.

Obviously some people will think I'm an idiot for saying I'm "pretty gutted", but it is all relative to what you expect.

Citizenship is like 1 hour once a week for a couple of months just not doing much, the teachers say dont worry about citizenship you can bet by without trying. Was just like talking about saying about the likes of laws and stuff :S.

Humanities is just the war and stuff.

Anyany im off out to see everyone, bye.

I'm a bit disappointed with my results D:.

Only 1 B, a few Cs and two Ds.

C in Media is the grade I'm most disappointed with, I put my heart and soul into that subject. :(

They were saying on the radio this morning that to get an A* you need 61% and for an A 51% (maths) is this true? If so,

No... We needed about 90% in maths to get an A*, 80% to get an A

What the radio are saying I aassume is something to do with what you need if you get absolutely full marks in coursework etc
I'm personally fed up of adults saying that GCSEs and A levels are easy nowadays. Maybe they should damn try being 17 and taking them again with the stress of teen everyday life.
Really annoys me.

That was for the advanced maths unit

I thought it was a bit rich of Chris Moyles (dumb arse) to be mocking his staff for not even been able to get a C on the (ADVANCED) Maths GCSE, calling them dumb arses....considering the number of people probebrly worried/concerned about results today.

What a Seaward.

Annoys me to. They want students to get at least 5 A-C's and yet apparently exams are to easy. They can't have it both ways.
