Guitar Hero is a series of music video games published by RedOctane in partnership with Activision. The series is notable for its use of a guitar-shaped peripheral to simulate the playing of music, represented on-screen by colored notes that correspond to fret buttons on the controller. The games support individual play as well as cooperative and competitive modes for two players. The series has used a range of both licensed and independent rock music tracks from the 1960s to present, many of which are master tracks from the bands. In total, five games have been released for video game consoles, while games have been released for mobile phones and the Nintendo DS handheld gaming system.

So, who all plays?
I have been playing since GH2 came out on the 360. I love the feeling of hitting the hard parts and the thrill of FC'ing (100% notes hit without over-strumming) a hard song. The online play on GH3 is very good aswell, where you can play Co-op or against other players. Here we can discuss the game, your achievements etc.

If you play, fill in the form in this thread.

Q. Can you use the wireless guitar on GH 1 & 2?
A. I'm guessign the Wireless Controller you refer to is the GH3 Les Paul. It works on 360 with GH2 and I'm pretty sure on PS2 it works with GH1 and GH2.

Welcome To The Jungle
Cliffs of Dover
That one by the Killers (he doesnt look a thing like jesus!)
That Superbus french song
The other french song
That German song
Barracuda

Must get a TV, getting withdrawal symptoms!

Can't wait for Guitar Hero 4, and I really can't wait for Guitar Hero: Metallica. I just hope Neversoft don't do the same with this as they did with the (progressively worse with every game) Tony Hawk series.

GH3 is my first Guitar Hero game, so not an expert yet!

I really enjoyed the first two GH games, although I never did play Rock the 80s. As for III, it was good but not as good as Harmonix's efforts.

I've been meaning to rent GH:Aerosmith to see what it's like, and I may try out World Tour once it's released, but there's no way I'm getting the instruments as I've already got plenty.

GH2 is the best of the series IMO. GH3 was good, but definitely lacking something... Probably because Harmonix left.
