As Vermilion said, my priority is to get the State Secrets act passed, irrespective of the vessel used to deliver it.

So if the conformists looked to rig the vote and introduce the Church Conformity Act, you would still enact that choice because democracy?

Without wishing to offend the Right Honourable Drumstick, I do find it curious that he has received immediate backing from a previously unreliable and unpredictable member of this House. I urge my bestowed colleagues to consider other candidates before jumping aboard this potentially fur-lined train to ruin

State Secrets Act

The number, names and descriptions of all roles in play will be published.

This seems more helpful for the Conformists, no? We know from the OP that there are 7 of them which is all we really need. They don't know what roles are available or the role names.

Why are we wanting to provide them with solid intel?

Would be a pretty stupid move for the conformists to put their names against the Church Conformity Act would it not?

However if Preezy runs for Speaker I'll switch my vote to him and his hunky policy .

I am fully behind democracy as long as nobody votes Hannivalia to leave the Alpine Union. ;)

So the Speaker who gets elected today is then in position until they die? And they are the only one who can put forward Acts to be voted on? And they get protected from night actions for their first night?

Sounds like a very powerful role and we really want to make sure we don't put a filthy conformist in there on the first day!

Agree that State Secrets seems to be the most valuable law to get through early

I shall run for Speaker of the House on the platform of passing the Protected Communications Act - being able to discuss chamber matters in private out of the view of the scummy Conformists is of utmost importance!

Speaker Vote
Drumstick [3] - Drumstick, Mommy, Tomous
Vermilion [1] - Vermi
Ob Bob [1] - Ob Bob
Preezy [1] - Preezy

Acts Proposed
State Secrets [3] - Mommy, Vermi, Tomous, Ob Bob
Protected Communications Act [1] - Preezy

Yep. Looking at the potential laws, the Investigatory Powers Act would look like it would give us the ability to seer. That's essential to root out the church loving scum.

You have to remember though, there have been vote riggers in previous games, and were a vote to be rigged in favour of the act, would Drummy still enact it?

Presumably the Protected Communications Act is only really relevant to Parliament? We've got to assume that the Conformists can already PM one another?

In which case it seems like a good starter to go for - the only people against it would be one of the seven surely?

The vote rigger won't be able to rig an in thread vote Drummy is putting forward to select the act for his platform
