Mate you've missed out! Endtroducing's been a regular staple in my gym playlist for years - Stem/Long Stem and Midnight in a Perfect World are amazing. The Number Song, Transmission 3, etc etc are all awesome. One of my favourite hip-hop albums of all time.

Strange to me that you could like Hip-Hop and dislike Kendrick Lamar, who else is out there right now anywhere near on that level? He's probably the best lyricist in modern music never mind rap.

Also, Sing About Me I'm dying of thirst is maybe the best song on the first album. Sherane, Don't Kill My Vibe, Money Trees, Swimming Pools, amazing songs. It's an all time great album.

To Pimp a Butterfly is not as good, but still brilliant for me. Consider Kanye West's output in the last 10 years, and it just doesn't compare imo.

Well, MBDTF came out in 2010 and that's the greatest album of all time.

My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy is comfortably better than anything Kendrick Lamar has done, and is widely regarded as the best rap album of the decade. I'd put A$AP Rocky's last two albums above him too. Same with Run the Jewels.

I don't think it's that great, heavily reliant on features. Definitely a good album though.

Not to single out Kanye West because I actually like him more than the vast majority of rappers these days, I just don't think anything in recent times really matches up to Kendrick's stuff.

MBDTF's a great album but it's overproduced to hell, nothing Kanye's done has topped College Dropout.

Just wrong. I love Drive Slow though.

All Falls Down is still his best song.

I'm gonna take it back a bit... with De La Soul working on a new album, I've been playing some of their older stuff and I'd forgotten how good this is.

I used to like De La Soul a lot, but I've seen them live 3 times now and they weren't great any time. I still listen to their classics but their half arsed live performances left a bad taste with me. Plus their last album was muck.

Anyone else going to the live premiere of Waves in the cinema on the 11th? Live feed of his fashion reveal at Madison Square Garden plus a full play through of Waves. Gonna be so strawberry floating good.

Listened to new Kanye on the way to work this morning, rather enjoyed for first listen. Thankfully only seems to do a little bit of that stupid Future/Young Thug style shouting rubbish that all the crap newer rappers seem to do where its not even words they are saying.

Beats are pretty good too. Still don't get the hype with Chance the Rapper, can't get into him and his voice is annoying.
