strawberry floating LOL! Nintendo's first-party output is no more or less hardcore than it has ever been.

Sega should just stick to the arcades. Leave the proper games to the experts.

They are all watered down compared to the previous games imo apart from maybe Twilight Princess which is a Gamecube game anyway.

How the hell could Super Mario Galaxy, Smash Bros Brawl and Mario Kart Wii possibly be considered watered down?

They are. Galaxy is a bunch of mini levels and the other two hardly improve upon their prequels if at all.

edit: my main point is none of the Wii games are fresh, imaginative or comparable to the N64/ Gamecube prequels.

STFU, you know in your heart that nothing this gen from Nintendo has been anywhere near their glory days when they finished a game when it was done. Galaxy aside they all suck, mind you I dislike Galaxy as well because it does not feel right for a Mario 3D game.

Ah, the sound of the Sega fanboy. Been a long time since I heard that. Apparently games with more characters, more modes, online, video uploads and level editors are watered down versions of the previous games, which had none of those things.

Oh you mean the versions of games that took 20 year old franchises and re-imagined them with the power of a 3D console?

Nintendo didn't need to re-reinvent their games again this gen, because they made the transition successfully - which is more than one can say for 95% of SEGA's, to use one example. No, SEGA opted to develop a NEW bunch of flashy, made for arcade games (many of which were cloned off, or by Namco, with a great deal of success), as well as either BUTCHERING or IGNORING it's long standing mascots.

In fairness to them, I did like the Sega developed F-Zero.

Indeed, infact I thought it was possibly one of the best games on Gamecube.

Shows how far SEGA have fallen.
