Completely agree. Just watched the newest episode. This has been such a let down. Why do they feel a need to shoehorn in a murder plot into most BBC dramas nowadays? This could have been so great...

The Hour has been renewed for a second series on BBC Two.

The channel's controller Janice Hadlow announced that the show would be returning while speaking at the MediaGuardian Edinburgh International Television Festival.
