In order to calibrate the lightguns properly, you need to have a living room straight out of a Wii Lifestyle photography shoot, i.e. massive. As far as I know you don't live in a studio apartment on the Isle of Dogs, so you will have to stand as far back as poss, or play with the reticule on.

This is the first game to make me turn on my Wii in a long long time and I'm glad I did as it's great :D . I've done level 1 a couple of times now and I've just ordered the Hand Cannon so I can have even more fun.

Great stuff even if I am hugely late to the party.

And the first level is the worst in the game.

Should be awesome to play this between SFIV & WiiFit  :shifty:

To go with this, my sister also got me Handcannon for the game as well.

I've had a brief go on it earlier today, when its too dark in living room (will have to play it on my TV and see how it fares), I had alot of fun out of it, especially the handcannon. It's lovely model and makes it even better.

I played this last night and found it both entertaining and hilarious. That may have been because I was drinking but I'm going to buy it today.

I just managed an 'A' rank on Carny DC despite failing to goregasm.

I did manage to get most of the brains and civilians, though.

Got this the day it came out. Terrific stuff! Even got my sister hooked on it. Cant afford a hand cannon though. :(

Seemed to have hit the wall with the money. Just cant seem to earn much more at all and if I do its tiny amounts.

1. Don't die - you lose half your money every time you do to rejoin the game.
2. Saving people = 5000 points
3. Collecting brains = 1000 points

Has anyone else tried playing this with the music and movie soundtracks dialled down to zero ie just the sound effects? Its pretty good - wish there was a way no avoid the cut scenes altogether as well though - I know you can press A to abort but they still get a bit weary 102nd time around...

I haven't played the game yet but I popped out to get a hand cannon yesterday. It's rather lovely isn't? Robust, detailed and a nice, soft handle. Actually feels like a high-quality product, rather than a naff bit of plastic like most Wii remote shells.

Very noice.

But the music is so awesome!

I think I tried dialing down the music once (because it was drowning out the dialogue) but I couldn't work the knobs. :fp:

Agreed, the music is awesome but playing it in the spooky quiet does create a different kind of atmosphere - and yes the knobs are a nightmare to turn down..

That's what she said :fp:

The soundtrack totally deserves an official release.

Cheers! Only, I did sort of already know this though...... I've got an S ranking on a few levels and I only seem to get more money when I beat those high scores.

The music is indeed awesome, the official site has some of it streaming if memory serves me correctly.

It does seem to get more stingy with money once you've beaten the achievements - the xtra it gives you for beating a high score isn't that rewarding is it ?

Errm, I think it's $200. Not sure though. I'm trying to get the stockpile $10,000 in the directors cut achievement, its going to take ages at this rate.

Some of the music from the game can be down-loaded as part of the 'fan site kit' - not sure how much yet - downloading now - but supposedly a reasonable amount.
