The iD Superpack - £23.25 (or $34.99 + VAT) on Steam

All iD games are halfprice on Steam this weekend, you can buy them individually, or get the iD Superpack for half price too, which includes:

Commander Keen
DOOM 3
DOOM 3 Resurrection of Evil
DOOM II
Final DOOM
HeXen
HeXen II
HeXen: Deathkings of the Dark Citadel
Heretic: Shadow of the Serpent Riders
Master Levels for Doom II
QUAKE
QUAKE II
QUAKE II Mission Pack: Ground Zero
QUAKE II Mission Pack: The Reckoning
QUAKE III: Team Arena
QUAKE Mission Pack 1: Scourge of Armagon
QUAKE Mission Pack 2: Dissolution of Eternity
Quake III Arena
Return to Castle Wolfenstein

I think this is one of those things that whilst right now I have little desire to play any of those games, it's going to be good to just have it.

Wow is that really what I think it is up there? A post from LewieP which won't earn him any money at all?!

It's a good deal I guess but lots of their games were shite. Quake 3 was easily the worst of the "big three" shooters in the late 90s and early noughties while RTCW was totally spoiled by stupid monsters.

If you are buying this I'd check that the games work on Windows Vista too.

strawberry float yeah.

I was actually looking around for My doom games to have a blast whilst I'm off work sick on my laptop. Looks like my first ever purchase of Steam then - awesome stuff Lewie, as I had just turned Steam off from auto loading on turn on a couple of days back, would have been a shame to miss it

The link to the source is the very first thing on the blog post, but whatever, that's typical behaviour for you.

Cheers for the heads up Lewie! Just went and bought it! :D (God knows when I'll actually get around to playing them all), but when I'm broke I can always play them instead of buying new, expensive games. :)

If Windows didn't suck so bad, I'd consider it.

I use to love my shareware versions of the old Commander Keen games!

If you don't like his links, just put him on ignore or shut the strawberry float up, seriously, whats your problem mate, he is even listed as an advertiser on the forum, if you don't wanna click his links just look and go, "oh, LewisP says that Guitar hero is £29.99 at HMV, let me look that up for myself... open up a new tab and type in www.hmv.co.uk and search for it." ITS NOT THAT strawberry floating HARD

seriously...

Is there anyway to ignore the trolls post in the users control panel? Because frankly everything he posts is simply garbage. Anyway there are some awesome games in that ID pack for a terrific price.

Having started to play Quake 1, it's surprisingly better than I used to think it was. :o I've only tried DOOM and Quake 1 so far, never ever played RTCW, any of the expansion packs or even the likes of Hexen, so it should be interesting to work my way through them all one at a time. :D Certainly got plenty of value for money out of this pack! 8-)
